What you invariably fail (or pretend to fail) to understand is that these things are not mutually exclusive. I can support the people of Ukraine despite knowing that some of them are bad hombres bad slavs. I can see that Zelensky is a president trying to do right by his constituents, who are dying at the hands of an autocratic regime that invaded them in violation of a treaty. I can support all of that without supporting child trafficking, prostitution, or labor. All of those things occur in the US as well. Are you saying you don't support the US, traitor?

This seems disingenuous, but obviously your position is not going to move. Trump does not have that ability with classified information, nor does any other president. You are aware of the disparities like Biden immediately returning those boxes upon request, whereas Trump attempted to lie about them and keep them, then lied again saying he had returned all of them but didn't, along with multiple lies about declassifying them after the fact, lying to his lawyers about possession, etc. These situations were significantly different, but you do not want that to be the case, as it ruins your partisan argument.

No, it doesn't need to be anything. She informed people, including illegals, of their lawful and constitutional rights. She was not helping them commit crimes, aiding and abetting, or anything else. She was practicing her 1A rights, which last I checked, was a pretty big deal for conservatives (and myself personally). That is the prism I look at this through. If you want to treat that as a crime, we are capital F fuct as a nation.

Let's just leave it at agreeing to disagree.

I find it telling that you do not apply the above logic to any of Trump's legal entanglements. To me, that was what cemented those prosecutions: what prosecutor would go through with indicting a former POTUS/ current candidate without the evidence to back it up? Career suicide is not something most engage in willingly.

Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI and is about as trustworthy as a viper. His own family would tell you as much. What did Nuland say that bothered you? That she didn't think Trump would be elected? If that's your criteria for guilt in an assassination attempt, then millions of Americans are also guilty, including members of this forum.

Allow me to broaden your knowledge base. I mostly trust the MSM, but am not in "lock step" with them, or anyone. I tend to vote for Democrats because their policies align with my values more often than Republicans, especially with Trump in office. But I do truly hate the DNC, as they have been greatly responsible for the ascendance of Trump because of their ineptitude and arrogance. The point I made initially, which you continue to ignore, is that coordinated messaging is used everywhere. It shows unity. Where I work, we will battle it out in a strategy or policy meeting and have multiple opinions on a subject. When a decision is made, we are all on the same page, whether you internally support the idea or not. My wife and I do the same with our kids. I might not like the message she sends them, but I will not tell her that in front of the kids. IMO you are making a mountain out of a pimple.
