You can see it in the GC, with constant declarations about how stupid and useless all liberals are. It is also a fact that many on the left feel superior and contemptuous toward MAGA and are vocal about it. All of it is bullshit. We are Americans. We are on the same side. What keeps getting glossed over in these conversations is that many of us do not feel as though the DOJ was weaponized against Trump. Maybe we're wrong; but if you start off with that understanding, the rest of your argument falls apart, because we do care. We don't say anything because we don't believe it was wrong.

Good post, and agreed. But per the bolded, I think this has been grossly overblown. How common do you really think this is, and is there any data supporting adults "pushing" kids into gender affirming care? I would think it's the reverse, as kids desiring identity are suddenly pushing it on their parents. I don't know how I would react if one of my kids suddenly decided their gender was different than at birth. But I know well that it isn't anyone's business outside of my own family and medical providers.
