Damn, you were serious? I was expecting something funny/insulting, not real. Kudos. Your moments of humanity are acknowledged and greatly appreciated. -

I am not arguing that Mump do not have the authority to do this. They do not, what they are doing is seemingly illegal. What I am saying is that your post made it sound as if they pocketed the money, which is not the case. They impounded/revoked the money. It was not stolen. -
'Wokest hospital in America?': Top hospital hit with blistering ad exposing 'political agenda'

Since I have gone after some people for not answering simple questions I have posed of them, I will humor you for the sake of my own integrity. NO. What's your point? -

Come on man, you aren't doing yourself or anyone else any good with sensationalist tripe like the above. The money was not stolen. Let's try to stick to facts, and not sink to the level of propaganda, which you rightly rail against. -
Jesus, you could probably sell this idea right now and make a tidy sum. This is what passes for originality these days in Hollywoo.

JFC, dude. Consumer's Research IS the conservative dark money non-profit propaganda outfit pushing this campaign against the Cleveland Clinic. It is not funded by government AFAIK. So yes, you are confused, and no, your question does not have any relevance. HTH -

Understood. I usually avoid this place while under the influence. Glad you didn't have a stroke. Now if you'd like to give us a coherent account of that story, I'm sure we'd all love to hear more about people examining your rectum. -

You ok man? This post looks like you were either totally hammered or having a stroke. -

The government is not funding Consumer's Research. So your question seems irrelevant. -

You're confused. Cleveland Clinic, like every other medical center in the US of any repute, relies on CMS (Medicare/Medicaid) for it's operating budget. If Trump decides to pull that funding, along with federal grants, hospital systems will go under. Naturally, they're starting with a non-profit so they won't piss off any shareholders or donors. -
uuuuugggggghhhhhhh. Why? I don't know which band is more annoying and overhyped, Oasis or the Smiths. Both fronted by a some of the biggest douchebags the rock n roll world has ever seen, which is a really high bar. Oasis had a few decent tunes, but they are all outweighed by the horror that is Wonderwall. And I reeeaaaaally hate the Smiths, and especially Morissey. I cannot say enough bad things about that pompous ass. ETA: I do like that one Smiths song but can never remember the name. What time is Now? Something like that.. New Order is cool, though. Have you ever listened to Joy Division?

2 things I did not know before this post: That Squis has punk in his musical oeuvre, and that X actually had a billboard top 40 hit. I will guarantee you my local top 40 station never aired that song, even once.

Cool. Some conservative dark money non-profit propaganda outfit now sets its sights on one of the best hospitals in the country. There is basically ZERO chance those allegations about prioritizing patients is true. If it is, then leadership needs to be fired. But pulling federal funding would be a death knell, and the harm that would come from that would outweigh the "benefits" of pwning libs by a factor of about a million. This shlt is dangerous and could tank American healthcare, which has plenty of issues already. -
:jealous: I wasn't able to see them the last time I had a chance, IIRC the nearest show was in Chicago on a weeknight and I couldn't make it work. Too many bands skip coming to MN on major tours. They hit Chicago, maybe Milwaukee, KC, St. Louis, then off to Denver or Dallas or wherever. Too far north, I guess. Hell, even Des Moines sometimes get shows that don't go to the twin cities.

Good question for which I do not have the answer. I do not believe some of the numbers being thrown around, but legalities aside, I appreciate what DOGE appears to be doing. If Don can manage to cut a few hundred billion from federal expenditures without undue collateral damage I will be thrilled. Even better if he exposes individuals guilty of fraud/misappropriation of funds and prosecutes them.

Fully agree about X. Their last couple of albums have been awesome and Los Angeles is one of the greatest punk records ever. Did you know they did the Wild Thing cover featured in Major League? NOFX very much should be in. Their longevity and influence on the genre are basically unmatched, and their musical, lyrical and technical prowess has always been underappreciated. I appreciate Jann Wenner but his influence over the HOF has kinda fuct up the membership.

Don't worry Boomer. If your boy turnip has his way, we'll grind 'em up in Gaza soon.

Amen, brutha. Joy Division has always been one of my favorites, they just didn't release enough music. New Order is good, but definitely did not capture me the way JD did. The punk and metal bands deserving of the HOF are myriad, and I've pretty much given up hope. Add the Misfits and NOFX to that list. Can you imagine Jello Biafra's HOF speech? I'm pretty much over Las Vegas, but this place might be enough to get me to make a trip.

You're such a softy.

I have heard very similar stories to this one. Thanks for sharing. I used to fully believe 9/11 was an "inside" job, with members of the Bush admin being part of it. I do not believe that anymore, but I am not convinced that what we are told about that day is true. It is well known that there were people working at WTC told not to show up for work on 9/11, and it wasn't limited to a single company.
