Totally fair. But you and I have certainly engaged in our fair share of heated rhetoric exchange, and I can confidently say that neither of us is directly causing these problems. You're gonna have the time of your life. You really can't go wrong in the Caribbean, assuming you're booking with legit companies and staying out of the areas filled with bad hombres.

It might be more expensive, but the weather is nicer, and yaknow, the Caribbean! I'd rather spend $5k-$10k on a badass cruise/resort for a week than $2500 for a weekend in LV.

I was discussing a group trip to Vegas next year with some friends, and this keeps coming up. You go there for a weekend, you're dropping $2500 easy, and that's if you don't gamble or break even. I can think of more enjoyable ways to spend that much over a weekend, and even have something to show for it afterwards besides a bad hangover and regret.

I'm hoping to scale back to part time and arrange my schedule such that I can take a week off or more at a time without using PTO. I don't care about working as long as I still have time for all the other crap I wanna do.

I've been wondering that, too. He was here briefly a few months back and expressed some veiled frustration at whatever was going on then. I suspect he's become disillusioned with Trump/MAGA but won't come back here and admit it. If that's the case, I give him way more credit for having some integrity than I ever thought I would. I keep waiting for more to follow his lead but I'm losing hope by the day.
