This behavior happens everywhere. I'll never go to another NFL game wearing away colors. It's just inviting over the top abuse. That said, Philly fans are really a special kind of trash.

This made me laugh. If we had a league constitution it would be scribbled indecipherably on a bar napkin soaked in cheap beer and Jack Daniels. We regularly vote on rule changes, but enforcement is subject only to what we can remember voting in. The draft is a weekend long sousing with other intoxicants regularly mixed in, so as you can imagine, no one ever remembers vote results from the year(s) before. We have discussed discontinuing the league in favor of a yearly party. FF is just the excuse to get together nowadays. We have not scrapped the league because it has been around longer than the wives, who have only given their conditional blessings for members' continued attendance due to the historical nature of draft weekend.

Any team playing the Vikings in the postseason has, by definition, a decent chance of winning. But I like the Vikes tonight. Do you have a preference as far as which team you'd rather see against da Iggles?

Your league sounds like it has superior administration to mine. Which is not surprising when the roles of co-commissioners go to the top 2 finishers the year before because nobody wants anything to do with being the commish. Damn near the whole league has commissioner access by now, LOL.

I am intrigued by this idea of burning and sacrificing to change my luck. I think I will start by burning some ganja and sacrificing a bit more of my admittedly diminished cognitive abilities.

I don't focking know. I won titles in 16, 18, and 21. Guys in the league joke that this is the universe resetting to normal.

It gets worse. 12 team league and 6(!!!!) teams make the playoffs. I was highest scoring team from week 3 on. Lost 5 of my last 7, with 4 straight to end the year. It has only happened to one other person in our league, which is 28 years old. This is the third time it's happened to me. It's now called pulling a {fnord} except, yaknow, my real name. Without mathing it out, I have to think that those multiple finishes are a statistical anomaly of the highest order.

California is the third largest state. Everything there is expensive, including labor. What are you guys proposing, hiring 100,000 people to clear the forest of debris?
