LOL. Are you one of those guys that's just always wanting MORE time with "loved ones" and refuse to admit that sometimes you just need to get the fuuuuuuck away from your family, especially kids? My buddy has been off all week taking care of their 3 yr old (He's 52) while his (much younger) wife is working. Tomorrow morning they'll go to his folks house, where he is one of 7 kids, all bringing their spouses and families. Friday he's going to be with his wife's family (she only has 2 siblings, both with 2 or 3 kids) all day. Dude needs to tip a couple back and smoke a bowl; I'm more than happy to furnish that escape for him. It's what friends are for. No. I am not very lettuce-like. At best, I'd be the undercooked, hard to eat, slimy bacon. Or the chunks of tuna or other unidentified protein some bastard left behind in the jar of mayo that accidentally make their way into your BLT, assuming you're not a freak that could eat a BLT without some kind of lubricating condiment.

I'm sure it did. Given my profession my memories of those early days are probably more vivid than most. There was mass confusion because it was a novel virus. Recommendations would be in place for a while, then change. It was utter chaos and staffing quickly became a major issue that took us two years to dig out from. Yes, it was stupid that people were wiping down their groceries and wearing masks while outdoors alone. But at the time, we just didn't know. In my mind, inconveniences like that were a small price to pay in an attempt to keep vulnerable folks healthy.

Now that ticket stubs are no longer a thing, you have to buy merch to have a memento, and merch is just as outrageously priced as the tickets.
