What do you have when you bury 82 million liberals up to their necks in cement?

I do not think the Gideons would approve, but who knows? -
Well actually I believe they ruled that the plaintiff had not exhausted all of her remedies short of coming before the Supremes. They ruled on procedure, not on the merits of the claim.

Hurricane Milton, Cat 3, flooding and lots of damage
Engorgeous George replied to jerryskids's topic in The Geek Club
I hope I don't have to go down again to help my sister rehab her house. She is in Naples so maybe the storm surge will not rise into her home, but she says it has been raining there pretty steady the past week and her neighborhood is already fairly full of water. She has evacuated inland to a friends house which is also a few fett higher up, constructed of cinder block, with hurricane shutters and has a generator. The last time I went down I left a generator and some tools in her garage on top of an eight foot heavy steal shelf so I will not have to pack tools, just water and replacement drywall plus gas for my truck and the chain saw I have stored there and propane for the generator I left. It is a long drive. I hope i can avoid it. My parents and brother have passed away so I no longer have to help on their properties. My parent's property was the worst. That was less than a mile from the ocean. It was strongly built so it never got wind damage but the storm surges sure liked to run up a canal right into their home. -

Off to the high country. They are releasing water into the Blue and the Colorado and the rafting should be good for a day or two. Also the Kokanee are running. Getting out-of-doors may be good for othders around herr too. Have a great day. -

Separation is not the goal and never has been. Separation of families was a necessity thrust upon us by the overwhelming surge of migrants. The shear numbers forced us to build temporary camps. Camps in which it would be dangerous for minors to mingle with adults, some of those adults being predators, trafficers, and generally violent. We could not protect the minors if intermingled with adults so we gave them their own facilities. Yes, some were not reunited or only slowly reunited with their parents. This was and is due to poor or no documentation by the parents and the large number to be processed. This was the migrant's choice, not our goal. I note that the Biden/Harris regime has continued this and has lost tens if not hundreds of thosuands of children in their more human use of the bureaucracy. I note that separation also began before Trump. One might conclude that uncontrolled, overwhelming migration which overwhelms our capacity is to blame. One might, but you don't. as for rounding up millions. We round up millions of americans every year. It is called law enforcement.. -

An interesting assertion. This would mean that the "gotaways outnumber the encountered. That would raise the number of total illegals substantially over most current estimates which erstimate the gottaways around 50% of the numbers of thsoe encountered. -

That natural fear is no more evident than at the border itself where they run across the border to the nearest border guard and then stand in line next to him docilely while being given food, water, and a ride on a bus. Sure, they are fearful of authorities. The next authority they meet gives them a plane ride or a bus ride along with a cell phone and an EBT card loaded with cash and sends them to free housing in a hotel with free food. Sure they are fearful of that authority as well. On their way to their free housing, food, and money they are told by yet another fearsome authority figure that they must appear for a hearing years down the road. What does that fearsome authority figure do to assure this will happen? Nothing, he takes their word, in their native language, that they will appear. Yep they certainly are fearful of authority, and for good reason too.. -
They are crippling the country to have their demand met that their antiquated jobs be preserved institutionalizing inefficiency and making American ports less competitive than worldwide alternatives. Were I President I would go past invoking Taft-Hartly. I would declare the ports being open a national security matter and would bring in national guardsmen to operrate the ports. I would encourage congress to expedite automation of the ports to increase their efficiency. I would reprogram infrastructure money to get this going. I would prioritize that. I would tell these misguided idiots they cannot hold the economy of the country hostagde to save outmoded jobs. I would offer them some solace. I would encourage congress to program money to retrain them to jobs relevant to the economy. Many could be trained to operate the new automated equipment. In addition I would encourage installation of additional automation, not to move the cargo, but to inspect it. I would train some of these folks to be port security and customs inspectors, a dangerously overlooked need in a volitile world. The rest of the displaced workers I would invite to apply to become border security officers around the countyry. I would prioritize their hiring over others, for a short time. I might ev en encourage a small relocation fee be paid to those who would have to move. These monkeys are buggy whip makers in an automotive world. They think they can hold us all economic hostages. They should be soundly and immediately disabused of that plan.

Tarantulas, kokanee, and elk. Its that time of year
Engorgeous George posted a topic in The Geek Club
The tarantulas are out and mating down near La Junta. I went on down last weekend and saw hundreds. The kokanee salmon spawn has started andIi may fish it a bit this weekend, though as I don't keep them I more or less have stopped fishing them the last few years. They need to spawn without my interference. Still, a land locked salmon is a neat fish to see up close. I hear the elk are bugling in the high country so next weekend I will head to Estes Park or Jackson Hole or maybe all the way to Story Wyoming where the family has property. Damn I love this time of year. A buddy has invited me on a bear hunt with him as i did not win a tag in the Elk lottery this year. I told him i do not hunt carnivores nor omnivores, only herbivores. He found that weird. -

I knew Fema Director Deanne Criswell when she was coordiabnting Aurora's Emergency Management and was sleeping with a married Fire Chief, not the Chief, but a Battalion Chief. She failed her way and slept her way to the top. -

Have you been to Des Moines? It is lovely. Clean air, clean water, clean streets not covered in feces. -
I am not sure your proposed scenarios come anywhere close to as bad as the Iranian theocracy flush with oil cash and only months away from the bomb. In fact I would argue otherwise, especially if by the time your scenario comes to pass the Israelis have just truncated Iran with America's help and returned that Persian state to the forward thinking western state it was prior to the fall of the Shah. Still, what do I know? I am not living in Israel. Neither am I a jew. My perspective may be one fostered by a lack of direct personal investment.

Have mail in ballots already gone out in the huricane zone? Are ballots now destroyed in the flood waters: If ballots had not gone out yet are they destroyed at balloting centers or printing centers? How does one vote if their home and all their documentation was lost in the flood? What happens to ballots which were in washed away drop boxes or mailboxes or even post offices?

Worse than their enemies' pledge to exterminate them, or at least to exterminate the State of Israel? Hard for me to imagine how, but that may simply be my failure of imagination. Perhaps you would like to share some thoughts on how it could get worse for Israel.

I am a bit surprised this got zero traction. I get it, big news detracts from other threads and John Amos did die today. -
I am definitely not a Disney adult. I just happen to dig harem outfits and Jasmine was one. I probably got that fetish from I Dream of Jeannie. As for Pocahontas, who doesn't like a dark chick with great legs in a sort leather skirt.

My current wife is more of a Belle from Beauty and the Beast. My third, if that happens, will hopefully be a Pocahantas, and now let the psychoanalysis begin.
