A Code of Ethics seems possible as it would comport with the requirement in Article III, Section 1 that the Justices may remain in office so long as they exhibit good behavior. A Code of Ethics would simply set forth and codify "good behavior". One could even argue such a Code is long overdue and would provide guidance to ther Justices in conducting themselves. Passage of term limits would mean Congress, at the behest and urging of the Executive branch seeks to limit the powers of the judicial branch. One can revisit the efforts to confine the presidency to only two terms and perhaps extrapolate that such an effort could not be legislative but may well require a Constitutional Amendment. Given the recent difficulties in amending our Constitution I do not see this happening. unless Biden proposes this as a Constitutional Amendment and works towards its passage tirelessly one can only conclude this is just red meat for the left and insincerely proposed and so is intentionally divisive. Biden's disrespect to the Court has been ongoing and is, in my estimation, shameful. He displayed his contempt for the Court during his SOTU and continues everytime they make a ruling. His actions can, and in my estimation, should be read as an attempt to delegitimize a co-equal branch of government. That is an attack on our democracy.

I tend to confine my giving to environmental causes and to medical research. My wife concentrates hers on animals, children, and the Catholic Church which, BTW, I do not attend or participate in. My wife has given to the Trump campaign, a matter of some contention and tension between us. She has agreed to refrain from doing so in the future.

Being celibate is a choice, not eing able to get any is another matter entirely.

Fokks often try to evade responsibility when they are called out, or caught out. They do so by grasping at any lie which will absolve them of culpability. Parents know this. Teachers know this, and cops know this.

If there was such a supper, which Christians firmly believe, it was undoubtedly a solemn occassion, not a frivolous one with and the participants each vying for attention with outrageous garb and exposed testicles.

Excuses, after the fact, which try to negate responsibility are, to me, less than believable. Symbolic speech is always open to some interpretation so anything is possible, but it is not probable to believe these folks had no idea the representation they presented would be interpreted as it was. The Last supper is iconic and recognized across nearly all ncultures. It is part of basic culteralnliteracy. to pretend they did not know that, or intend the association is unbelievable.

I am trying to picture some intrepid soul approaching one of the few remaining members of the Greatest Generation and asking them whether as their landing craft were approaching Utah, Gold, or Omaha beach they were fighting to keep the world safe for drag performances. Democracy, sure. Religious freedom, sure. Opposition to ethnic cleansing, absolutely, but public drag performances at a showcase world event, I can't get there. I get that such is a freedom, I simply maintain that this was not their purpose, just a collateral matter, an incidental, benefiting from their general purpose. Struggle to make something more out of this if you will while I head up to the mountains to run some whiterwater. Gore canyon today. So, the low bar election proceeds apace with each side trying to denigrate the other sides candidate, flawed candidates who should never have been put forward.
