Though the California bar was and i understand is, marginally more difficult to pass the reason for the low pass rate is that California allowed, and still allows to my understanding, persons from unaccredited law schools to take the exam. They lower the pass rate, or at least they use to.

Trump really is not good at coming up with derrogatory nicknames for folks. He has a reputation for doing so but I have found every one of his devastating nicknames really pretty pathetic. Most sixth graders could do better. Trump needs to learn about alliteration. It makes a nickname cacthier. He should try Kackling Kamala or Harebrained Harris. She is probably too mature to respond in kind, but Dickweed Donald has a ring to it.

Perhaps you can highlight then her three biggest accomplishments in each position so we can know the basis of your evaluation.

Serious physical harm is justification. Is a scalding serious physical harm? It is on the cusp, I suppose. Given, however the reasonable and readily available alternative of temporty retreat to safety I believe this officer is going to get convicted.

Presuming she could have flung the boiling water at the cops, a suspect presumption given her size and the distance, the worst the cops would have suffered is some scalding burns. They were not in danger of losing their lives. That makes the use of deadly force more than suspect, expecially since they had an unobstructed line of retreat and there were no individuals in immediate danger requiring their continued presence.

The Democratic party had an historical opportunity here and they gave us Kamala Harris.

Neither will get my vote though my vote is irrelevant given the demographics of my stadte and our rules on electoral college votes.

That would not follow logically as we are missing the reason he is not seeking reelection. We think we know, but we don't as of yet, but even if your supposition (and mine as well) were true the one does not follow, necessarily, from the other.

I was told in another thread, since removed, that among her qualifications is she was a member of a legendary sorority. Apparently it was legendary not for acting as a spy ring against the nazis or for curing space cancer or for saving the extinct superwhales, but for having a few famous alums. That, to me, does not seem like a qualification for the Presidency, but it was put forth as one of her qualifications. Frankly I think her primary quailification is she will, apparently, be the standard bearer for the not Trump vote. Frankly that is a failry large constituency right there. It may even be enough, with nothing else, to get her to the White House. My how we have shrunk as a nation. No matter who wins we lose.
