I believe the Attorney/plaintiff has structured this intentional challenge in such a manner that she will prevail. The previous ruling in favor of the Baker was on a narrow point and premise and this particualr set of facts shows that premise to have been factually inaccurate. In the end this will not overturn the earlier case, it will only serve to clarify it. As for the Baker, I don't know how he stays in business with his litigation costs. I know much of his burden is taken up by advocates with an agenda and so his costs are minimized, but still, this seems exhausting. i would recommend he give up his store and that he only takes Artisan Orders on Special Consignment.

I regard it as a reasonable opinion to hold that all illegal immigrants should be deported regardless of their heartwarming backstory. If exceptions are to be made those exceptions ought to come from congress such as the U-Visa exception. They ought not to come from the executive branch of government and in particular not during an election year.

They were entitled to their defenses and I helped secure their freedom. Tim would deserve no less of an effort. I am confident I could secure his freedom even in a venue dominated by ardent republicans making up the jury pool.

The point is the Administration has invoked executive privilege not to protect the Office of the President but the campaign of the candidate. They are using executive privilege to deny information to the voters. Seems I recently heard of a candidate being charged and convicted of 34 felonies for such action except instead of using the power of the Presidency and the authority of the Department of Justice he used his own checkbook.

It is a very flawed metric. Perpetrators do flee across the border and to other towns and given the inability to I.D. them they escape justice. Victims, ususally from the same migrazt community are reluctant to come forward to prosecute crimes against them as they are afraid authorities will deport them if they contact authorities since they are unawre of the U-visa they can get for cooperation with prosecutors and so a vast swath of crime goes unreported. You are arguing that X=Y when definitionally they are overlapping but not equivilent sets. As for the second matter it is very likely that the great majority of illegals are nonviolent and intend to obey the laws of this nation, absent the immigration laws. The violent subset is, however, not insignificant and is very violent. Unfortunately, too, just like with bad cops, the violent are not violent once, they are violent over and over again. They do disproportionate damage coloring the perception of the demographic to which they belong unfairly.

I think the point of the island is that it was beyond some jurisdictions so the nefarious could go to greater extremes, but I do understqand that even in NewYiork some untoward activities may have occured.
