I am one of those no longer meaningfully employed. Of course I am not looking for employment at the moment and I do not plan on ever looking for meaningful employment. When I finally get bored I may volunteer. I use to volunteer teach citizenship courses. I may also go back to teaching aspiring police officers. I taught P.O.S.T. certification classes as a second job, mostly constitutional law. I liked when the students would call me Professor. I also taught essentially the same material at the local community college. I may even do a bit of trail restoration work if they will have me. I am getting a little long in the tooth to work hard at altitude but I may still be of use.

I am not imbued with confidence after listening to that snippet.

So we have heard lots of evidence Trump was a sleaze ball. I suppose then theory may be he was so anvious to not have the truth of his character known that he may even have been willing to break the law to prevent the truth from coming out. I guess the theory is the repetitive sleaze goes to motive. That said, it is now repetitive and that it might go to motive is different than that it did go to motive. Past time, in my estimation that the prosecution sh!ts or gets off the can. -
I was also the last vehicle over Berthoud pass recently before they closed the road. Dozens of folks stuck. I picked up two young ladies from Iowa who managed to get their Dad's Lincoln SUV stuck.

In my case she would have to have really bad taste in men and some granddaddy issues. -
I find my Nissan Frontier sufficient for my needs. Not an SUV, but a capable midsized pickup. Last January it got me through a blizzard that shut down I-70 and stranded thousands of Semis and other vehicles, including most every SUV there is. I drove around thousands of stranded folks and kept on moving. I might have stopped and offered assistance but I would have added to the hazzards to be avoided.

Starting to take on a Stephen Hawkinsesque sort of posture and facial expression.

Isn't MTSkiBum the poster who shared a video of him driving a rather ridiculous Colorado Mountain pass. If so i would say he has some credibility when it comes to capable vehicles. I could watch that video again. good stuff.

I agree, and they should have done so years ago. For Biden around 1987 and for Trump before he exposed us to Amarosa, whenever that was. -
And that is a real problem. Not one i ascribed to any one Administration as the excess and waste has been going on for decades.

I would not go that far, but he does, continuously, misuse words. He is not one to pause in his speaking style to search for the correct word. He figures why bother when he can simply covfefe instead. -
Biden says Americans have 'right to protest, but not the right to chaos'

He legalized purple drank, sponsored a rap version of the national anthem, funded scholarships to twerking academies and offered amnesty for spring breakers in Miami. -

I'm retired. I always fared incredibly well in the courtroom. You are a Who fan. You should play some pinball. Maybe if you did you could become aware this year. Until then I will follow you as your lack of self awareness is incredibly amusing. You don't address the fact that your support showed 120 prosecutions from riots all over the country spanning months leading to deaths, rapes in the secure zones, arson, looting and injuries to LEO. Your article could not document the total number of January 6th prosecutions as they had not yet happened. I am not arguing the January 6th prosecutions should not have happened or that the sentences were extreme based on the facts, only that your argument that there was consistency between the events is provable horsesh!t and your authoritative argument to settle the matter is the most poorly constructed argument imaginable. That you fail to see it means you are an idiot, or as usual you did not read what you were selling as you were so anxious to find an article with a title you thought supported your position. If you want me off your back its simple, read your supporting material before posting it, dumbass. -

Dude is the leader in the clubhouse for getting my vote. He's crazy as a sh1thouse rat, but compared to Trump or Biden he is the sane and ethical one. Also I want to do things to his crazy running mate. -

Will he have the Mexicans pay for it? -
My net is worth substantially less than the $29.95 I paid for it years ago at Outdoor World. It is old and worn and in need of replacement.

Engorgeous George replied to kilroy69's topic in The Geek Club
Is it total bullshit? I wondered since you have a habit of shall we say overcharacterizing your support documents. Lets begin with the date of the document. It is from 2021, so when it compares convictions of the January 6th folks to those from the George Floyd Summer of Mostly Peaceful Protests there is going to be an inherent problem, that being that the prosecutions of the January 6th folks had yet to really begin as of the writing of the article so the final numbers were hardly all in. The article compares the mostly completed prosecutions of the one event to the as yet unbegun prosecutions of the other event and finds a lack of total disparity in the numbers as then known and so concludes there is no disparity. Of course even then it does not compare the actually numbers, rather their impression of what the numbers mean. The article is not a peer reviewed scientific study, it is a study done by the press, a press which may well have an agenda. We know you acknowledge that fact when it is convenient but you deny it when it is not. Still, what did they find? They found that the Mostly Peaceful Protest did involve some very serious charges of interpersoinal assualt, arson, and extreme property damage and they then note that not all charged got off, some, around 200 even getting as much as 27 months in jail. Now if we compare that to the current, updated prosecutions for the Jjanuary 6th Insurrection and Overtrhrow of Democracy (a one afternoon event in one place, not something happening for weeks and months all around the country) what do we have, actually? Well far more prosecutions resulting in far more jail time than simply 27 months, at least for the worst offenders. In short, as is so often the case with you when you search for articles with titles that may on theire face support your position you fail to read and comprehend the article. The article does exactly the oppoosite of what you propose, it supports Kilroy's posiiton. Now me I am not getting involved to take either side of the argument. I am getting involved as someone needs to deconstruct your bullshit. If you care to make your argument without the misleading supportIwill leave it alone, but your propensity for this type of argumentation needs to be called out. You fancy yourself a logical, person with well reasoned arguments, but actaully, as near as I can tell, you are full of it. -
I think you might also want a carbine and a shot gun for different lays and distances.

Those lusty and zesty protestors are looking to show Joe Biden a good time? College kids, go figure! -
There are numerous examples of golf clubs used as deadly weapons. i would not recommend using them against the young phags as doing so makes charging decisions againstd you fairly easy. I suggest carrying a carp, 15 to 20 pounds should do. Let it ripen in the sun- do not keep it in a cooler. Upon encountering these miscreants carp slap them until that bottom feeder disintegrates. They will get the message and you will be a bit safer from prosecution, though not completely safe. Imagine you being on trial for instructing the miscreants. You could say their tale (tail) sounds a bit fishy. It needs to be wieghed in the (fish)scales of justice. Tthe prosecution needs to prove their case against you beyond a reasonable trout.
