Mandatory University of Wisconsin Law School seminar tells students ‘there are no exceptional White people’
Engorgeous George replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
Well if the tractor rolls over and pins you in the filed during the spring planting do you want some skinny waif from Georgia to cry over you as you slowly die, or do you want a wife who can lift that thing off of you without putting the twins down in the mud? I want mine to be able to carry me back to the house and get those bratwurst cooking so I am well feed whenIi go out to see that skinny waif from georgia after dinner. -

It would have been a challenge to get a fat one up Bascom Hill and then up into Lincoln's lap. -

That rock was likely deposited during the last ice age. Likely it was carried down from northern Canada where it was plucked from the basement of time itself. How and when it angered black folk is beyond me but many things are. It has been moved. It is unclear if the moving of it taught it a lesson. -

They removed a rather large boulder. It is unclear if the rock was racist or knew it was racist. -

Nice. My list does not include the Union though I got close one time in the Rat. My list does include the mat room up top of the old Red Gym and a psych lab. -

She was more spry before her hip replacement. i like to think I was responsible for the need for that hip replacement as well as her spinal fusion. -

Well it is two thirds of the way up the hill, or was back in the day. BTW, I did it in Lincoln's lap with Cathy Johnson. -

Imagine confusing accredition from schools with education. Certainly one can gain an education at formal institutions. OIne can also gain it at the library or off the internet. One can also gain it from being observant and inquisitive and testing hypothesis and skills. Me, my formal education involved multiple universities and multiple degrees but my informal education proved much more interesting and useful, not to mention fun*. *Special thanks to Anne Marie, Alice, Gina Marie, Sue, Bridgette, Linda, Lisa, Anne, Jane, and Valerie. -

I've often wondered why some left leaning politician has not licensed REO Speedwagon's Golden County for their rallies. -

Seems to me Mr. Marr is well within his rights if Trump's campaign has not paid for the use of the songs. If the campaign has paid for the use Mr. Marr can still criticize Trump but he cannot object to Trump using property he paid for. It seems to me this issue has come up in the past. I seem to femember Springstein objecting to the use of one of his songs. Fleetwood Mac as well. -

I think Kramer and Newman solved this problem. The answer is rickshaws. They are cheap. readily reparable or replaceable and can be powered by the homeless and illegals. -

I trust NPR when they reveal their research, not in an unsupported opinion piece based on the work of others, work which is not shown. I did not repudiate their facts since they showed no facts, they just stated opinion as if it were fact. That is the whole point. You do not differentiate fact from opinion. -

The Tims of the world never recognize the error of their ways until it is too late. if Tim was on the Titanic his panic would have had him in a lifeboat ahead of many women and children. Once lowered into the water his guilt would have driven him to urge the boat, already overfull and in danger of swamping, to row in to pick up survivors. Cooler heads would argue no, don't row in. The panicked will swamp us and we will all die. We are already overfull. We can row near them and throw them our life preservers which we do not absolutely need since we are in this lifeboat, but let's not make the mistake of joining them with no rational hope of saving even one. Yes Tim would carry on and on and might even get his boat to go in among the panicked. As everyone in his boat drowns from being swamped only then would it occur to him that he might have listened to the real experts, not folks like himself who presume they are experts. -

Tim, I always enjoy your "Most Experts" and "Polls reveal" arguments. What you mean is whatever article you have read from a biased source and whatever push poll showed up in your feeds. Your arguments are commonly and repeatedly disassembled and found to be horse apples upon the slightest examination. -

While I enjoy NPR I am going to have to call bullshit. If your source of the majority of experts is one NPR article which does not show its research I am going to again say how absolutely full of feces you are. -

Perhaps you could point me to those experts. When I went to look for information I found a government report. It showed the number of overstays in one year. You can find other years of the report. The number of overstays documented by the government are in the range of 600,000 to 700,000. The border crossings are estimated at two to three times that rate and more. Also, many of the overstays get new documentation or leave, it literally is often just an overstay, not a seeking of a new home. So I don't share your viewpoint but I am willing to review your information. Oh, here is the document i reviewed... https://www.dhs.gov/sites/default/files/2021-12/CBP%20-%20FY%202020%20Entry%20Exit%20Overstay%20Report_0.pdf I hope a DHS document is a fair starting point. -

By coming here legally and then overstaying its visa? I am aware when someone wishes to change a conversation through a non sequitur. Tthe conversation was about the texas razor wire, not overstaying visas. Regardless, to address your question I don't think the numbers are knowable since those who cross our border without detection or apprehension truly do not have their numbers known. -

I am not comparing them. I am raising the issue that a wall, a physical structure, interfers width the animals natural behavior. It cuts them off from important parts of their range and will devastate their populations. I am concerned for the environment. Migration routes are seasonal and circular. They come and go. Illegals don't migrate, they move. -

It will for Texas when Texas pays to put up a few billboards along the caravan route that Texas is closed by razor wire but California welcomes all with free health care and sanctuary cities which issue I.D., and of course tim schochet who will personally embrace them all and employ a few at below minimum wage. -
