Given my disdain for the United Nations and its sad predecessor I highly doubt history would have worked itself out otherwise as they are show ponies. Real power has always resided elsewhere. That said I cannot disprove your wild speculation and will not try. My point was she is widely believed to have wielded the levers of power for some time and not disasterously, some might even argue effectively. Her only qualification being marriage was the main point.

Nothing I think matters, that is for certain. I have never voted for a winning President and the national debate consisstently ignores my ideas. Given the results of the elections and the direction of this country I sort of take pride in the fact I am an ignored voice in the wilderness. A madman with laryngitis howling at a streetlight in the belief it is the moon.

She checks the easy boxes. As I said so does Kayleigh Mcenanay who I spotlight since she is from the other side of the political spectrum from you and so I presume you can see how that would be absurd. So too do I check all of the those boxes Michelle Obama checks, as do many here, perhaps yourself included. Those easily checked boxes do not qualify one to bn President of the United States. Sadly she might be able to win in spite of her lack of qualification. She would not be the first to do so.

Also, I am not saying that Michelle Obama could not gain the experience which would in my mind qualify her for the job. I dislike her politics but she seems a capable woman. maybe she could run Chicago then Illinois, then run for President.

A combination of native intelligence, education in the law, political science, business, or economics, perhaps history certainly not women's studies, and experience organizing and running a substantial enterprise with hundreds if not thousands of employees. Give me Governors, Admirals or Generals, or captains of industry, not wifes. Your advocacy for Michelle Obama would apply equally to Kayleigh McEnany. I would have neither. BTW, Edith Wilson did alright. she is some counterpoint to my position.

A wonderful false equivilency. If you are asking me if the former first lady is more roundly educated and intelligent than two congresspersons who came to be elected to the raucous house campaigning on red meat issues and tgalking points during the decline of our country I would wholeheartedly agree. That still was not the issue being discussed and is no rebuttal to the silly position. One silly matter does not support the other silly matter.

She would be well qualified to run a municipal agency. She would be well qualified to teach at a law school. she is woefully unqualified and inexperienced. Imagine thrusting her into a position to manage 15 disparate deaprtments with 2.3 million employees.

That is not really the issue. Is Dr. Jill qualified to be President? This trend based on name recognition and party loyalty only is what is driving this coungtry to the brink. If you want to argue taht Trump should neve have been considered qualified I have no problems with that. But don't conflate the one matter with the other.

He was better than any host since then. I wonder if the audience has shifted too much for him to be well recieved. We shall see.

Qualification through marriage. I don't understand. No one would hire my wife to litigate a matter, why do the democrats believe marriage imbues the spouse with experience. They did this with the Clintons and now with the Obamas. Imagine thinking Laura Bush or Melania are qualified becasue of marriage. Now I get that Hillary and Michelle have more educational attainment than Melania, but come on. Michelle is massively unqualified.

He cannot. He can have a wound, but not a womb. He can have a ripper behind that zipper, but a sweet sweet muff, not on your life.

I am no economist. I have no degree in the subject. That said it is my understanding that the markets anticipate events and react to those anticipations often two or months ahead of events, especially when those anticipations are done deals, not merely speculations. Maybe there is nuance or even just basic information I am missing or misapprehending. Regardless, the markets tanked, inflation roared and now both have ameliorated. I do worry that global events may spiral out of control and mess with economies in a substantial manner, yet I have not invested in physical gold as urged by William Devane. Perhaps I need urging by a more compelling actor, say Tim Roth, Edward Norton, or Robert Duval. If Duval did Gus McCrea and urged me to buy gold perhaps I would. Recently the markets have treated me kindly and filling up my tank is not a painful event.

Looks like he has been eating copious amounts of carbs.
