I agree. I told a good friend, a Vikes fan, after the draft where the Bears picked Fields that things in the Division were changing. The Bears started drafting more sensibly and so too Detroit who had drafted nothing but w.r.'s for three decades but who decided to draft beef on offense and defense. I said the Packer and to a lesser extent Viking window was closing fast. Now the Packers had a very good draft last year so they will remain in the mix but I see both the Bears and the Lions as ascendant. If the Bears parlay their #1 over all into a haul and give Fields some weapons at reciever and in his line they could be very scary rather soon. If they start all over with a cry baby at Q.B., well not so much. The Bears are definitely poised for a substantial jump in talent and outcomes. You guys are going to have an exciting offseason.

Lions fans have waited a long time for this. Good for them that they got it today. Next week will be a healthy challenge with the Lions having to travel and having one less dayof rest. I don't see the Lions getting past San Fran and getting past the Ravens after. Still, I sort of hope they do. Then the only division team without a Super Bowl would be the Vikings, and that would please me some. Do it for Lem Barney, Alex Karras, Herman Moore, Barry and Megatron. Do it for my Godfather, a lifelong Lions fan unlikely to see another season. Oh, and please do it in Lion's uniforms, not whatever these things current monstrosities are.

Why did Doubs run out of bounds on his first long catch? He did it five yards short of where the defender was. I laughed at the terrible flop by the Packer, Owens I think, when Trent Williams brushed him away. How could the refs call that? I knew to a certainty Carlson would miss that kick. My only uncertainty was whether he would doink it. Packers did well. The youngest team, a seventh seed, traveling on a short week, with an injury list as long as Giannis Antentukoump's arm and they made the 49ers worry. Next year they will have some extra draft picks from Rodgers and Douglass. They will have cleared much of Rodger's cap hit and they are also likely to be able to deal with the ridiculous cap hit for Bahktieri who has collected something like 90 million the last three years for playing around 10 snaps and for chugging beers on the arena cam at Bucks games. The Packers have found their Q.B., their T.E.'s, and their W.R.'s. They have also found some workable D.B.'s if Alexander and Stokes get hurt again. Finally they have integrated a good and young O-line. They have some holes, but all in all it was a year where they made progress and answered questions. No Green Bay fan is lamenting moving on from Rodgers. I lament they did not do so a year earlier so they could have raped Denver instead of allowing Seattle to do so.

I can do without pregame songs of any stripe. Maybe roll out some stripper poles and play some music for the cheerleaders to perform to. That would help pass the time.

The first go woke go broke company. First they start serving blacks and now they are gone from America's corporate landscape. The last woolworths I saw had to be 25 years ago. The last time I was in one had to be 60 years ago. Their gumball machine gave three gumballs for a penny.

Sausage (patties or links), bacon, ham are all excellent. Lox is also damn good when I am in ther mood. Steak and eggs remains the gold standard while chicken and waffles has its place, primarily because waffles. As a kid, in the summer I use to fire up the grill before going for a run. When I got back it was ready to go. I'd throw on some pork chops, run down to the lake to swim a few hundred yards by way of washing off the sweat, return to the grill, flip those pork chops, do my pushups and pull ups and then eat four pork chops for breakfast along with a cantalope and some Grape Nuts covered in a bit of plain unsweetened yogurt. That would tide me through while I rode my bike 15 miles into work where I could grab an employee meal. Those employee meals was where I was first introduced to lox.

I did use my credit card at Colorado Clay's, the Firing Line, and the range at Cherry Creek and used it for hunting licenses, so I probably got flagged for that.

Hmmm, I shopped at Richard 's, Cabella's, Bass Pro Shop and REI this past year. Maybe REI is granola crunchy hairy-legged colorado chick enough to offset the others.

Had I cheated in a class by plagarizing I would have flunked that class and been thrown out of school. Regardless, even had I not been thrown out of school I would at least have had to retake that class or complete another in its stead to accumulate sufficient credits to graduate. Then, upon graduation, I would have had to apply to be admitted to the Bar. The Bar would not have admitted me as they would have determined that a cheater lacked the moral character to be a member of the Bar. See we are only supposed to be of questionable moral character after admission, not before, its how we lawyers roll.
