I paddle four miles every other day and when finished climb a set of 42 steps ten times. On alternate days I bike twenty miles and then do the step climb. At noon I do three sets of curls, flys, chest presses, & military presses with 25 lbs dumbells. Sets are 10 reps. I then do 50 pushups. At night, after dinner, I walk a mile, sometimes I do so with a backback on with about 20 lbs in it. Sundays I have been going backback rafting. I walk around six miles up hill, pump up my whitewater raft/kayak, a kokopeli brand product, and raft back down. It is getting difficult to find whitewater to run around her. We need some rain or even snow up in the highcountry. Sometimes I break my paddling up with a bit of fishing tossed in. Between that routine and yard work I keep moving. When winter comes the paddling is replaced by swimming and use of the eliptical at the local rec center.

Instead of distributing Obamaphones we should hasve distributerd bootstraps, or boots with the straps sewn in. How can we expect blacks to pull themselves up by their bootstraps unless they have bootstraps?

So, more hatred today than say in Matthew Shepard's day? I don't know how to quantify levels or degree of hate. I don't know if it is increasing or decreasing. I do know I find it far too high, regardless. I find partisanship destructive and I do not see partisans building bridges of understanding but instead digging the chasm between the sides ever deeper. I find you quite partisan. I find many on the conservative side here extremely so as well. I know that whaterver flaws I see in others I share in myself. Imagine, killing a person for a passively expressed opinion, for flying a flag. Imagine taking this wife and mother from her family for flying a flag.

I like to put a tray of Chex mix I misted with olive oil and hit with some onion salt on the smoker for an hour or so while smoking ribs or a butt. I thought the law on threats was that the threat had to be clear, AND, the person had to have the ability to carry it out in the near future by both proximity and practicality. i thought theidea was that unrealistic vernting was not actionable. In this instance, where the speaker was not conflated from being in a passionate and heated argument with the subject of the threat, but rather went out of her way to initiate the matter she should be investigated and looked at very closely. If she had any extant plansto travel to the vicinity of the Judge or the Congressperson, and if she had any weapons or any training in killing such as militsry training or substantial range time she should be prosecuted. If she is just a nutjob venting she should be under ongoing surveillance. As I understand matters some jurisdictions have begun opassing laws about threats to public officials so as to overcome the common law on threats. Depending on how those are written I support them. These can get tricky as one person's threat is another's justified criticism. In the instance under discussion, however, i don't think we are close to the line. Pretty clearly, to me, that behavior is beyond the pale.
