Myself, I am not a believer in Tariffs, generally speaking. I do believe in reciprocal tariffs against countries which tariff or restrict our imports. I also believe I might violate my general rule when it comes to China since they violate international law and regularly steal intellectual property and so compete unfairly. What I would not do right now is tariff our friends to the north. Its winter. We need gasoline and heating oil. We also need lumber, and in abundance to rebuild after the huricanes. It seems a bad time to cause even temporary shortages there.

I'm guessing i will hear Lift Every Voice and Sing at least once before Punxsutawney Phil makes an appearance tomorrow.

I have nothing but disdain for Chuck Schumer. That said, and it cannot be emphasized enough that I have nothing but disdain for him; I do not believe this is a productive exercise. We the people ought to hold idiot politicians accountable for their language, not just those we object to, but those who purport to agree with us on other matters, but continuing down the ill-concieved pathway of criminalizing political hyperbole will only normalize doing so, and once it is normalized the practice will expand until it not only chills free speech, but freezes it to death.

Disagree. Kennedy had Jackie, an icon, and was power slamming Marilyn and Judith Exner. When you are leaving your hot wife upstairs to powerslam a mobsters girlfriend downstairs while Marilyn Monroe is being snuck in through a tunnel, that's pretty bad ass.

I believe you may be projecting. He never said or implied rape. He inquired as to whether you might care for a good rodgering and whether that might change your outlook. He did not say he wanted to be Mike Tyson to your Desiree Washington.

Maybe he's having difficulty programing it to steal your quarters and your sun glasses from the center console. It is also having difficulty changing your radio presets to all spanish language and music programming.

I like the guy who jumps up on the desk and begins to try to pry the flat screen monitor from the wall, and then looks around and sees its just a fight and no one else is looting so he sheepishly gets down. Later that same guy gets a folding chair to use in the fight and is scolded for it by a lady and again, sheepishly, he wanders away.

I get that the media has a role in disseminating and amplifying information. That is good and proper. I don't see why they need office space in government buildings to do their job. Access to government information and personnel does not depend upon office space in government buildings.

Seems to me air traffic control would be a function uniquely suited to being performed by A.I. Essentially we are talking about high volume sorting. That is what computers do and computers don't get fatigued nor do they develope drinking problems or get distracted from fights with their wives.

Clearly a highly partisan move. One wonders, however, why any media outlet is given permanent, dedicated office space in a government building. The press should have equal access to the briefing room and questions anwsered during briefings should be rotated amoung the media both present and attending remotely, but giving dedicated office space to a private entity in a government building, I do not support that. Now this move at least does not give permanent office space to the new partisan outlets which are replacing the old partisan outlets, but why give any valuable office space?
