If the pardons and commutations were or are the right thing to do they should have been done years and months ago. Waiting until leaving office increased the victimization of those folks. If it were the right thing a President would not have to worry about doing these while remaining in office and answering for the actions. That these are always done right at the end of a term when a President will not be held accountable by anyone for the actions indicates that Presidents know they are wrong, that they wil not withstand scrutiny.

I never said, or even remotely implied they were not counted on election night. Perhaps i could have been more clear. Perhaps the facetious nature of that part of my post was lost through being poorly stated. Sounds like Georgia did as Trump wanted, they found votes. They found them in what has been termed suitcases under a table at the counting center. I might opine that those suitcases were ballot transportation cases, but whatever. They located them and counted them. Did it look shady, yep given the hour and the observers. Was it shady, probably not. Where there externalities which raised questions, certainly given the late night rally for Biden. Could those externalities be readily and reasonably explained, I think so.
