And I suspect, then, that you believe that any deaths in the attendees of the Buffalo Bills game yesterday during the next week can be said to have been caused by the game is a reasonable and correct proposition. I suppose those folks would not have died but for attendance, or would they just have expired, naturally, because that is what a certain percent of folks do every day? As I said, you go a bridge too far in trying to support your proposition, and in doing so you weaken a proposition which had merit for discussion. You oversell. You claim opinion as fact. You dismiss countervailing arguments without consideration. You damage the very narrative you would advance, and you do so consistently and you do not see it. I, and others, have cautioned you about your unexamined life, your unexamined posting style, your uncritically considered arguments. You do not hear, you do not head, you do not see. There are few so blind as thee.

I would agree with you that there are some extreme opinions expressed here. Whether they are expresed for shock value, to get a rise out of folks, or are sincerely held i cannot say with certainty. Ii suspect both are true. I suspect I know who is actually virulent and who just wants attention, but I try to leave it alone as I have never seen an internet fight won and I don't expect I ever will. -
One does not have to be in a court of law to correctly and concisely understand the concept of causation. As for the bipartisan committee, lets just say i find most actions undertaken by politicians to be political and with an agenda, whether they can label themselves Bipartisan or not. i think most rational and cautious people do. i think you do not when it suits your narrative and you do when it does not.

Just an FYI, I did not vote for Trump, not once, not ever. As for the label "conservative", well it has been co-opted over the last 15 or so years to the point where it is no longer recognizable to its original meaning, and I don't believe it applies to me, but have it your way. -

Deserve's got nothing to do with it. Deserves got nothin' to do with it! -
Tim might have difficulty with the legal concept of proximate cause.

It is so statistically unlikely that it clearly is not random chance. Clearly fate hates you. Keep your head down and maybe Fate will turn her attention, her anger, elsewhere.
-
Which is why it is difficult to take you seriously.

Its pretty lumpy where I live.

As usual, a bridge too far.

I've been that guy, and it sucks.

Then, I would have definitely been up for Leslie Bibb. Now, well who am I kidding?

Metaphorically I hear El Deguello playing as we await the inevitable return of the Santa Ana winds. Nature is allowing no quarter. She seeks to slit the throats of those still left standing. -

Now I see where Prince harry and his wife are touring the area. Haven't those people suffered enough? -
So like Pete Carrol. (Plus Pete Carrol is always out on the field. he should have gotten flagged 12 times a game, each game, for being out on the field.)

Calling people out is, apparently, very important to you. You have hit this theme a few times in the last couple of days. Perhaps you can outline with greater specificity precisely what you would like to see in this regard. Maybe some AI generated bit of video of a Clint Eastwood style character in a Sergio Leone setting calling someguy out. Maybe something from the Outlaw Jose Wales telling the offending poster to pull them pistols or whistle Dixie. Perhaps you might consider that the most effective way to discourage trolls is to not give them the attention they so desperately seek. -

Why, can they be used in place of cement blocks in retaining walls? -
Actually with Watson having an ACL and thus likely not back until next December, at the earliest, and with Doubs having expressed some dissatisfaction with his role the Packers may need to consider a reciever in one of thier picks in the first two rounds. Packers have been undisciplined all year. Stupid penalties, communication lapses, lack of attention to fundamentals. They have a lot of maturing to do.
-
Packers in danger of being charged with some Philadelphia Municipal Ordinance violations for altering or befouling municipal property with the giant dump they took on the field.
-
I was just curious if there was a particular reason, or if it was just a general, global type of disdain.
-
Packers are their own worse enemy.

Did he black your eye and kick your dog sometime in the past?

Damn sorta burst open there. Still, a season which exceeded expectation and which generates real optimism for the future. Well done Broncos.

It seems to me that we have the technology to have feedback monitors on fire hydrants. it seems to me we could know the conditions around those hydrants instantaneously at a central command. If so it seems we could fight fires remotely, at least until the Departments could arrive on scene, if hydrants were equiped with remotely activated and targeted nozzles (what the fire fighters call monitors). Imagine a fire breaks out in the Hollywood Hills somewhere. Remote sensors detect it. Central dispatch sends all of the fire fighting assets to the scene. While they are in route Dispatch determines there are three fire hydrants within 400 feet of the fire. One can put water directly on the blaze through the remote controlled monitor and the other two can wet down the area into which the fire might move. Activating those hydrants could keep the fire suppressed until boots on the ground could arrive to assess the situation and take further appropriate action. Get on this Elon, or some other entrepreneur with some innovative spirit. It is a 100 million dollar idea and the tech is already invented, it just needs to be combined into one system and hydrants retrofitted and supplied power.

Time for a new generation of fire hydrant?

I am out to rejoin the game, already in progress.
