If I had been buying horses from the same breeder for the past 50 years, and everytime I bought one it died upon being saddled the first time I would change the breeder from which I was acquiring my horses. In fact I would have changed the breeder after the first horse died, but that's me.

Abbott defied the federal government and installed his own barricades along the most active parts of his border. it turns out that doing so was a major deterence. It signaled the end of open illegal immigration. Perception, expectations, they are everything in this issue. WE need to advertise that the borders are closed, that the trip is expensive, fraught with peril of rape and enslavement, and ultimately will result not at a free stay in a N.Y. hotel, but internment at the border before relocation back to one's country of origin where that country's government will then know that person fled the country.

If illegals were fire resistant we could have lined the hills with them.

Wondering if Texas will get that lovely layer of ice they got a few years ago which shut down their antiquated power grid. California has fires every year during the dry season. They also have mudslides every year during the wet season. It seems you should not overbuild on hills, allow human activity to start fires denuding those hills so they won't hold their water when the rains come. California has been an ecological disaster my entire life.
