Perhaps an Indian would know that 1965 was not 70 years ago. After all, I do hear they are better at math than Americans. -

Trump is ‘100% serious’ about acquiring Greenland, Panama Canal, say sources close to prez-elect

I did a quick google search on the price of Greenland. I found out truman once made an Offer equivilent to around 100 billion in today's dollars. i saw an estimate of 1.3 trillion but i question the source. I saw no estimates of 5 trillion. Still, with a reluctant seller one does have to go to absolute top of the market, so who knows. What happens if china or russia want to enter the bidding. What does this unique property get in a competitive Auction? -

United Healthcare CEO shot, killed in midtown NYC

Was that point that killing persons of substance, on video, to make a political point will get more discussion than killings for routine reasons, of relatively anonymous persons in the shadows will? -

I don't believe the murder victim was a billionaire, but I could easily be wrong. -
Last night I saw an accident On the corner of Third and Green Two cars collided and I got excited Just being part of that scene It was Mrs. Tom Walker and her beautiful daughter Pamela, was driving the car They got hit by a man in a lite blue sedan Who had obviously been to a bar. Chorus: They don't know how lucky they are They could have run into that tree Got struck by a bolt of lightning And raped by a minority. It was a four way stop dilemma We all arrived the same time I yielded to the man to the right of me And he yielded it right back to mine Well, the yield went around and around and around Till Pamela finally tried Just then the man in the light blue sedan Hit Pamela's passenger side. Chorus: Pamela hit her head on the mirror Mrs Walker got a bump on the knee The man hit himself in the face and said "Why does this happen to me?" The neighbors came out And they gathered about Saying "Hey! who hit who anyway?" And the police arrived at a quarter to five And pronounced all the victims "Okay". Chorus: Songwriters: John Prine

House panel votes to release Matt Gaetz ethics report

Weird bedfellows in the report, other than Gaetz and the minor. Gaetz and the DOJ both stood defiant to the Committee. They may have done so for differing motivations, but in combination they really stalled the Committee who were too spineless to act on the defiance. -

One good thing about the NFL on Christmas day.
Engorgeous George replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
I am done accomdating the NFL. They rose to prominence based upon their product, their delivery method, and our loyalty and our creation of fantasy football. they beliefve they created the giant, but is was we who did so. Now, not satisfied being pigs they decide to become hogs. Well pigs get fat but hogs get slaughtered.I refuse to cahse them around from one pay platform to another. I can make due with the NBA. I will not accomodate billionaires. I will not pay for streaming and I will vote acgainst any stadium funding. They can suck my crank. -

Pre-1953 clothing and blankets. Enacted in 1953, the Flammable Fabrics Act (FFA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1191-1204, was enacted by Congress to protect individuals from burns, fires, illness, and death as a result of highly flammable clothing. -

I was responding to the entirety of the quote you pulled and highlighted only the first half, ignoring the second half which was the sum and substance of the quote. I am done with you and your juvenile games. Frankly you are not worth any effort, more less the efforts of someone like me. Enjoy wallowing in ignorance like a pig enjoys its feces. It is a good look for you and the smell serves as a wonderful warning. -

Which might be relevant had I suggested murders only and not criminal incidents generally. Still, if it makes you feel good to ignore the sum and substance of the argument and to focus on the exception to the rule go right ahead, that is on a par with your general, incredibly stupid, approach. -

Would that be criminal incidents are down, or merely that the filing and prosecution of charges is down while crime is actually more frequent? Is this just a reflection of new yorkers learning that there is no sense in turning to the government for help as the government is apathetic about anything other than remaining in power and bilking taxpayers. -

Biden Ranked Worst President in Modern History in December Poll
Engorgeous George replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
The Company that conducted this poll rated .... https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/j-l-partners-bias-and-credibility/ Pretty solid rating. That said I am unfamiliar with the organization doing those ratings, so there is that. I suppose one could look into that next depending upon how far down the rabbit hole one likes to go. -

Color me incredulous that someone just sends money to women who ask and that those women just happen to be in the escort business. I find this to be on the same level of credibility as Biden denying allegations that his family was engaged in influence peddling. Some things just strain belief well beyond the breaking point and here Gaetz has certainly done just that. -

Biden Ranked Worst President in Modern History in December Poll
Engorgeous George replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
Are you pretending you could think of this poll, one which you obviously googled to try to butress your world view and your justifications therefore, which are righteously under attack. I get it, you like bidenas he is on your team. Like him all you want but try also to learn how to argue a point saliently. -
So I had to look up what seems to have upset this fellow of whom I have never heard. Apparently Nancy Mace was speaking to the Prayer Breakfast (and I admit I don't know what that is or entails, though I can imagine) and she was relating that she got up early to attend. She then stated that her fiance grabbed her by the waist to try to keep her in bed but she was not having it as she had to get to the Breakfast. Frankly I am not shocked by her little vignette, but I am fine if others are, like the gentleman about whom this thread has been discussing. Frankly her fiance seems like he could have been a bit more insistent or forceful. Not to the point of preventing her free will, of course, but to the point of making his point.

I can't think of any other poll of recent presidents and neither can you. You are desperately and transparently trying to disparage information with which you do not agree and are trying to pretend there are rational reasons therefor. I gave you the rational reasons but you cling to your irrationality. Frankly your tenacity in protecting your world view from additional input is impressive. Your ignorance is stronger than most I have ever seen. You go right on playing to your strengths as it is fascinating.
