Mass-Murderer Fauci set to Receive Pardon
Engorgeous George replied to jonmx's topic in The Geek Club
To take this a step further, since it is the property owner or managers who hired and approved of the hire of the night watchman it is they, under your theory who are resposnible for any crimes committed. Seems that puts you, Tim, in a very tenuous position as someone who owns and manages commercial properties. We will miss you Tim as you serve out your many sentences. -

Mass-Murderer Fauci set to Receive Pardon

A fascinatingly stupid analogy. If something happens under one's watch one is responsible, even if they had no knowledge of what happened and even if they had implemented policies and practices to prevent the activity. So any night watchman at a building is legally responsible for any rape, murder, or theft that occurs in the building. Any Commander of a military base is responsible for any crimes that occur surreptitiously on his or her base. Next time you construct a straw man argument maybe try to not have the main premise be so galactically stupid. -

As to "clear" that is a civil standard of proof, "clear and convincing. You should be argueing that "beyond a reasonable doubt" he commited the acts. As for "crimes described" acts were committed on his behalf and with his general knowledge, if not his specific knowledge or direct participation. Those acts were postured as crimes by the D.A. and the judge in a first time and novel application of the law. Whether that application will withstand appellate review is very much an open question and to me seems doubtful, but who knows? -

Congratulations. So your senior year took 32 years. Nice. I wish I had extended my collegce years. Those were good years. Maybe I can return to school for another degree. It would be cool being the Universities oldest freshmen in the freshmen dorms. -

On the off chance, unlikely though it may be, that others want to explore the concept of a National Emergency I went and found this link ... A Guide to Emergency Powers and Their Use | Brennan Center for Justice I have explored the link only briefly, thus far, but in that brief time found it instructive. Frankly this is an area where I need quite a bit of educatio0n. I will likely spend some time in that link, and others. -

It is an invasive influx of foreigners but not by foreign countries. There is a marked distinction. Many of the problems presented by the influx are urgent, but I would not call them a national emergency. Raisng the question, for me, of what is a national emergency and is it defined and does it have legal standing). Also, while there may be a role for the military in guarding the border and constructing the bordeer wall and deportation processing facilities I would not support the military conducting policing actions as that violates the law. -
Someday I hope to run across some of his pieces at a garage sale or at the Hotel/Motel art show, assuming I ever went to one of those.

I will wait for the liguidation sale before I buy any of it, but I like his use of color.

Nostalgia for the 1960's and I think they have a couple of members only airport lounges. Maybe you should have pulled out your black European Express card instead. -
Imagine, me and morals being in the same sentence. Morels maybe, but not morals.

Any significance to the fact that this was a leap year? -
Tough year for Bucky. Maybe Men's basketball and Women's volleyball will clear some of the sour taste from our mouths. For now Packers and Bucks wins this weekend will be very sustaining.

And they can't testify against you, which is nice. -
I see things quite clearly. You have fallen into the trap of self-congratulating yourself on your own moral and intellectual superiority when you have neither. You accepted uncritically the leftist orthodoxy on illegal migrants and only seek out informat[on to butress your position. You strive mightily to delude yourself, and to your crerdit you succeed in what you have set out to do. BTW, I don't blame individual illegals. I blame the politicians and their supporters who have not only allowed, but in many cases encouraged this to get way out of hand. I completely understand and appreciate the position of border jumpers doing all they can and taking risks and encountering uncertainties to make a better life for themselves and their families. If I found myself on the wrong side of a border I would find a way to get to the right side. Individuals, however, have nothing to do with national policy. They don't set it, we do, or at least we should.

A smart person would realize that nations need borders, that citizenship, like American Express membership, has its privileges, and that we need to control national, state, and local policy and resources so we may plan rather than having the vagaries of illegal immigration impose undue burdens on the nation, state, and localities. We need to run the country and set policies, and not leave it to folks with self-interst but no citizenship affiliation and thus no national interest.. -
I have never heard of her. Apparently she is a Soports illustrated swimsuit model so I presume she has a nice body. I did find this piccture of her. Seems attractive to my way of thinking...

I believe he is wishing your ignorance would die. I think, though I should not speak for him, that if that died and you remained alive that would be fine with him. On the other hand, if the only way to rid the world of your ignorance is for you to die so that on your death bed you gain enlightenment on this particular issue he does seem O.K. with that.

I believe the told him he was filling out a form to get discount icecream at his favorite ice cream shop near Rehobeth Beach. It is a ghey owned place called "Let Us Cream Your Face". His favorite flavor is Monkey Pox, though it does not have as strong a banana flavor as he would wish. He also favors Take The Dirt Road Home for that hint of chocolate nuttiness. -

Perhaps you do not understand sarcasm. -
They are all REAL kids, just some are citizens, sons and daughters of those taxpayers in the school district, usually property owners, and some are illegal aliens. The schools should have a mandate to educate lawful residents of the district, not illegal transients. Hell, if they feel an obligation to illegals maybe they ought to extend that obligation just the tiniest bit further and spend half of their school year teaching on-line to poor foriegn countries. I am sure our kids will understand as long as the explanation is kept at a rudimentary level involving no math or science.

Those educators maybe should have educated you. Class size has always been a central tenet of educators advocating for chldren. The smaller the better as that means more individualized attention per pupil. Also the NEA has emphasized that non-english speaking students need an inordinate amount of time and resources, time and resources taken from the other students since both are of a finite quantity. I am not advocating throwing children out of school. I am advocating not letting them into our schools in the first place by not letting them illegally into the ocuntry. If immigration were controled and predictable (read: legal only) we could plan for the number of students. We would have the classrooms to accomodate them, and the teachers, and the resources to teach engish and to teach in their native toungues until they have some mastery of english. Overwhelming a system which needs lead time for planning for proper functioning does damage that system, and its product, in this case educated children. Advocating otherwise so you can cling to your orthodoxy that Illegal immigration is a good is the height of foolishness.
