I love it when you provide links to back up your assertion on this. Every time you do I deconstruct them as being very outdated, partisan, and missing the point as they use the metric of convictions which ignores that many illegals evade prosecution and conviction by moving back to their home countries, at least for a time. Convictions has little to nothing to do with rate of criminality. that someone gets away with a crime does not mean the crime has not been committed. Whenever that is pointed out to you you end up ignoring those obvious flaws in your supposedly supporting documents. Just like you ignore the economic arguments that reintroduced diseases, school overcrowding leading to lower educational achievement for a whole generation and thus lower productivity for that generation, inflated cost for low income housing and thus shortages of the same, and of course murders and maiming's all have a cost that is never factored in to your articles supporting your fallacious economic arguments. What is the cost for a rape murder? Waht would you or I or anyone give up to prevent that from happening to a loved one? I hope the illegals all flock to your state and local as they try to avoid deportation. I hope they seek the protections of your politicians. Since they are an economic benefit you and your like should be advertising for them to relocate from the U.S as a whole to your locales. We will see how that works. Of course we already know from Martha's vineyard to New York and chicago, but lets have more of that.

Donald Trump named TIME magazine “Person of the Year”…
Engorgeous George replied to posty's topic in The Geek Club
I have ESPN on in my truck. Lately I have been hearing commercials for Trump products, shoes, watches, and now perfume. I find it a bit off-putting that the President elect is hawking merchandise. I do enjoy, however, the part of the commercial after Trump is done congratulating himself on being himself. Then an announcer chimes in. It is the same voice that does the commercials for Big Lou, the insurer. "You know, Big Lou is like you, only he's on number two." I find it funny that the same guy shills for Trump that shills for Big Lou. I also find it a bit degrading or diminishing; whether for Big Lou, Trump, or both I will not say. -

United Healthcare CEO shot, killed in midtown NYC
Engorgeous George replied to IGotWorms's topic in The Geek Club
Is it free for them, or did they pay for it, deferred, through their former work? If they did that is very different than giving free and essentially unlimited care to those who have earned nothing, who have produced nothing. -

If your reply was to me, which is not clear ,I inote you latched on, conveniently, to only a small part of my concern. Would we have to pay for heart, lung and liver transplants and the after care? Would we have to pay for expensive prosthetics or simply peg legs? What means this "universal healthcare"? Also, if universal healthcare means extraordinary care for all how do we then prevent the government form wanting control over our unhealthy and unwise life choices? Cerainly we are going to want to control costs by controling activities. -

Tom Brady watches, game-worn jerseys sell for $9 million at auction

Imagine if he auctioned off vials of his sperm. Dude would make a fortune. Not from me, but from Patriot fans. -
Is "flag planting" defined. What, for instance, would be the prohibition against urinating on the goal post or leaving a turd on the field if one did so shilded from public view, say in the injury tent. if not in public view it would nto be public urination. I suppose it could be a misdemeanor for disorderly conduct or altering or befouling property. What about the turd OU left on its own field against Michigan, do they cahrge the team, the coaches, who?

I think purdygood would be better served just moving south of the border, leasing a nice villa, and hound dogging the area for chicks. if he can posture himself a rich American many of those Latinas for whom he lusts will try to use their feminine wiles to trap him into marriage. He will get all the strange his heart desires and they will do the heavy lifting.. I would recommend a vasectomy before he puts this plan into operation. I would also recommend he not prowl really rural areas as families down there can take offense (read cut off your junk) if they suspect you trifled with their women folk.

When folks discuss universal healthcare I always wonder what they mean. If they mean innoculations and emergency care for injuries I am probably for it. If they mean vision, dental, and total coverage for any conditions including chronic and lifelong conditions and radical intervention such as transplants or sex changes I am not for it. I don't think we can bear the costs. What means this "universal healthcare" of which you speak? I am cautious of the Pandora's box problem. No matter what we give someone will always want more. -
Not my area of practice by any means. That said I believe confering of citizenship based on marriage is a process requiring the non-citizen to have lived in the U.S. continously for three years on a legal green card. During that time the applicant cannot have any crimes of moral turpitude. Also the marriage must stand for three continous years prior to application and the person must live with their spouse and the marriage cannot be found to have been entered into for the sole or primary purpose of confering citizenship. Additionally the applicant must show an appreciation for our laws and history similar too, but less intense, perhaps, than a person applying for a naturalization test. I believe there rare exceptions for members of the military. As for the contract, contracts can be concluded with non-native speakers. If I wished to assure the woman would be bound by the contract I would have her obtain legal advice and translation, if necessary, prior to signing the contract and would have that fact noted in the contrat. Contracts are all about a meeting of the minds and a non-native speaker without representation prior to signing would have an argument there was no appreciation for its terms, that there was not a meeting of the minds. Best to spend a few extra dollars up front to have them have representation than on the back end fighting whether there was a meeting of the minds. The foregoing is all hypothetical. It is not legal advice one can rely upon.

Is it ponderous at times, yes. Does Jimmy Stewart overact in some scenes, yes. Do other actors overact in some scenes, certainly. Still, Donna Reed is the perfect woman and in the end it has a sweet, if perhaps too sacrine message. Still, its pace, and that it is in black and white and relies on no transforming robots, gun play, fetishism or nudity, and has no aliens is refreshing to me. I get it though, definitely not for everybody.

I don't want a drone the size of an SUV shot down over my home.

Its a Wonderful Life

If these drones are up to nefarious activity, if they are surreptiously spying on us why do they have running lights? Seems running lights are the antithesis of surreptious. All these experts, all these talking heads, and yet nobody has yet asked the simple question a five year old would ask.

10, that's what, 4th grade? To my memory that was around the age I started taking notice of girls and their developing lumps. porn was impossible to access when i was that age but occassionally you ight come across a friend's Dad's playboys and that was a welcome distraction. I believe had there been an internet back then, and had my parents not have had parental controls upon it that I would have accessed porn.Even had my home system been locked down I believe that friends with older brothers would have found ways to access it and we might have viewed some, probably to the detriment of developing a healthy appreciation for women.

New York DA Alvin Bragg (D) Promises Not To Prosecute Theft To Establish 'Racial Equity'
Engorgeous George replied to Blue Horseshoe's topic in The Geek Club
Sadly Mr. Penny had to devote well over a year of his life and a substantial amount of money to the defense of these politically motivated charges no responsible D.A. would have brought. Bragg's abuse of his charging authority to score some political points asssociated with designs on higher office would have him disbarred if the system truely worked. -

Ivy league attending, 3D printer owning, Starbucks drinking anarchist? -
His is a rather indefinite pronoun in this case. By "his" are you referring to to Bragg or to Penny?
-
Where would we flee to when we get petulant about election results? Would we really want voters who have a history of voting for Justin Trudeau?
-
Of course he has had to devote his life and his finances to securing a verdict when charges never should have been brought. He has lost months of his life and will forever be recognized and known by some as a perpetrator as some, those with a racist agenda, are unlikely to let this go. also, he faces months if not years more of expense and devoting his life to this one moment in time as he is being sued civilly. Justice would be a Presidential Medal of Freedom, a Kennedy Centers Honor, and a go fund me page which raises millions if not tens of millions. Justice would be Alvin Bragg being tarred and feathered and dragged through the streets.
