30 inches and still snowing.
Engorgeous George replied to Engorgeous George's topic in The Geek Club
Looks like it is going to stop here now. Three feet of wet, heavy snow. Lots of branches and trees down in the neighborhood. Some trees still had half their leaves or more and they have not done well. This is going to take some time to clear working with essentially one arm. Sure is pretty though. -

With it only 50% torn the Doc said it was 50/50, surgery or jest letting it heal. On the day I was scheduled for surgery I showed up with a cough and a fever. theywould not perform the surgery. The doctor then told me that rescheduling the surgery is a por option as the healing process would be moving along into its third week and at that point they simply rcommend letting it heal. He did say i would lose a little suppination, but that I can expect return of the strength of the area if I let it heal for six weeks and then rehab slow and steady starting very light. -

I am up now because i heard a loud crack or snap. Neighbor's tree is down on his new truck. Nothing to do about it now so I am going back to bed for a few hours. When it gets light it will be time to dig out and to assess damage, if any. -

🇺🇸Father Trump Talk-🚨The Official Thread of the Week Magaverse🚨Lady Squissy 🚨Trump wins again 👍

More daunting than being identified, arrested, and deported? I doubt it, but who knows. Regardless, If they don't seek the supposed sanctuary of sanctuary cities they will be found and deported, and their finding staying daunting will eventually become known to others from those countries and that will serve to stem the tide of illegal immigration. Me, i do hope that they and their supporters will help push for a more workable system of legal entry, including sponsored worker visas from employers who would like access to that labor pool. -

They traveled from central and south America, from Africa, Asia, the indian subcontinent but they can't relocate to the next city or state over? I googled maps of sanctuary cities and states. You would be hard pressed to find an area in the continental U.S. more than 500 miles removed from sanctaury, and the vast majority live within 200 miles of sanctuary. i suspect they could relocate and could find work much like they did where they originally settled. -

The Administration should advertise that it will start deportation efforts in nonsanctuary cities and states thereby encouraging illegals to seek refuge in the sanctuary ones, flooding them and overwhelming their resources, resources which will concurrently be withheld by the federal government wherever lawful, wherever discretionary. Let the citizens of those sanctuar cities and states drive their politicians out into the wilderness when they see clearly the costs of their policies. -

Shocking, practically unbelievable, and so I will wait for confirming developments before accepting the shocking as factual. -
House Race...called 219 to 211!...Trump to become US first Dictator!

Conspiracy to commit the high crime of rejecting their oath of Office to uphold and protect the Constitution by hiding the President's cognitive infirmaty in contravention of the 25th amendment seems a good place to start. Having a man of clearly diminished mental capacity having access to the nuclear football is really a crime against humanity as well. The fact that it did not go bad is not the point, the point is it might have, it still might. The prime sentry on the gates of the citadel of democracy is asleep at his post . Sleeping on gusrd duty is a serious offense. -

TGI Fridays bankruptcy: Concerns about nearly $50 million in unused gift cards

No TGI Friday's in Colorado. I guess potato skins can only take a place so far. I can't remember which I saw last, TGI Fridays or Bennigans. Been years for either. -

They will have to be served the indictment to see what's in it. Think of it as legislation. -

Best we have now is recall elections and the State Bar Associations. Want to get rid of her, press the narrative that she, more than George Clooney, was responsible for Trump's victory. If that narrative catches on her career options are limited. -

Perhaps. Perhaps the republicans taker a lesson from recent events and Trump walks away and Vance gets 18 months or so to be President and then run with the advantaged of an incumbant. Who knows? With Trump's age, weight, and diet and the stress of the Officve certainly health problems are reasonably likely to arise and some of those health problems may well have a cognitive component. His age is certainly a very real concern for me though he seems reasonably vibrant right now and his ramblings seem in line with his tangential thought and speaking process from years ago. Still, worth keeping an eye on, no question. -
