I am wondering now about the price for buying my vote. I have my principles, of course. I also know that as a practical matter my vote in my jurisdiction is unlikely to be of consequence. If every man has a price what is mine? Pot would not factor into my choice since it is already available here in Colorado and has been for some time, and I don't enjoy it like I did as a youth. $20,000 would be nice, I suppose, but I don't really need it and it would not change my day to day life. Maybe a nice boat and a key of Peruvian marching powder would get it done. I know this though, I would want payment in hand before I sold my vote. I do not trust the word of either of the two main candidates. They do not get to pay me Tuesday for a hamburger today.
