I am on the fence when it comes to housing and feeding these animals. Yes, while in our jail they cannot harm people, even their own, while incarcerated.....but paying for it is a tough pill to swallow. But releasing them back into their home country likely results in them at least trying to come back again.....

I tend to agree on this point. I think you and I share some similar concerns about "mass" deportations. I worry about the cost of course, and I also wonder how the federal government will overcome actions of localities who will harbor those who are here illegally. They need to really think that through, and anticipate legal abuses galore from leftists in some of these areas. This wont be easy. Further, the focus should be on criminals....at least initially, but expanding it out to more and more is a good thing. The Biden team fomented this situation, now we have to pay for their moronic policies.......in addition to the economic damage they already have done, this should also be considered part of that financial mismanagement.

The media has been lying to us all. We have to start from that position. This is something I believe those who lean to the right have understood for a long time. It is something that I hope those on the left now start to better understand. A review of the Biden administration is the case study. Consider the impactful lies told by the politicians, that was dutifully echoed by the media. And on the rare occasion where the media stepped outside the liberal cult and asked valid questions, they were admonished by the politicians for it, and then the media got right back in line. The lying over the last year alone......YOU should be looking at it and the results derived from those lies in this past election and be VERY suspicious. Stop accepting their lies.....its time.

What no one us (yet) talking about is just how it arises that people are willing to allow their ideological opponents to face harm in dire circumstances. It goes against our nature as humans to actively allow harm to our neighbors. No one is yet talking about how the active demonization and dehumanization of people based on political alignment might result in people being treated like this. Why wouldn't this person actively avoid helping those who she has been told are fascists and racists....and misogynists and any variety of label? POLITICIANS divide us to secure power MEDIA divides us to secure viewers. Stop believing anything these people say, ALWAYS start from a place where you assume what they say is a lie until proven otherwise.

I do, I know you would absolutely turn that around. And I also know that eventually, your morals will temporarily align with mine when it arises that your ideology happens to allow it. I will remain philosophically honest throughout regardless of media lies.....since after all.....I have been calling the media liars for years.....have you?

Your point has merit. I do not specifically recall the members who lean more left joining in on our chorus of opposition to it all, but it could be true that some did. I think it more likely we would locate posts that would tend to suggest more support FOR the riots and such, than those which would echo the conservative views of them. That being said, this is an opportunity. If they are willing to tell the truth NOW about the elect activities and shenanigans......get it all out. If liberals want to start winning people back, the best way is to abandon all the lying and get it out now.

My action derives from a long standing norm here at FFT, we were doing this in the 90's....so if it arises that my action offends you, in part I want to say....waaaaaaa.... But then again, your point has merit....and I should highlight your hypocrisy in more effective ways.

It does seem to come up rather frequently. I think there is at least some justification. Right now we see Democrats and their media allies trying to have their come to jesus moment, and speaking truthfully about something for the first time in years..... maybe, its time to also admit their participation in and/or allowance for these riots which were pointless and based on exploiting peoples fears. I think a total capitulation for ALL the lies they have told would be a big win for the party.

I cannot say. That is a little more tricky. I think the lessons learned from the last stint in office is that there is a distinction between dissention and mutiny. He really needs smart people with competing opinions around him, and I like his selection for chief of staff for this, but I want to wait and see the rest of the selections. Would I think that someone like Cheney or Kinzinger or the rest of your list would be helpful or useful. I think maybe not, you cannot put outright enemies in your bubble......but you still have to listen to what they have to say. Now, that being said....if he EVER.......starts talking about needing a black woman or some nonsense, as if skin color matters.....THAT will be a big focking problem.

I am not sure I believe that everything is happening because of the election outcome, some probably is, but I find it a bit of a leap that everyone suddenly wants peace just because Trump will take office next year.

I will do so, absolutely, and others did as well....they stepped away to join the "never trump" segment of the party. I found all of that just fine, dissention is exactly what is needed, the ability of these people to have dissenting voices is imperative. They are true patriots in that regard. So while it could be true that Republicans might eventually eat their own, of late the actual real eating is being done by Democrats..... I probably should not, but I relish in watching these people turn on each other. Vile creatures all of them, showing their true nature.....

And I concur with your assessment. It is not a tact I think I would take, but I see the reason for it. I think we need to be patient and let the kids lash out at each other for a while. It appears to be a mix of anger but also plenty of people attempting to protect their situation within the political machine. We may have hear them bicker for a few months before they can get down to self reflection That being said, I do not have alot of faith that liberals can self reflect unless their ideological masters dictate it to them,

Lie as you prefer. Part of this recent election shows me that people are done with the lies. Frame it, spin it, do what ever you need......people no longer are buying it....
