Agreed. I like to take a consensus from all over the place, which is why I also like the consensus ADP at fantasy pros. I stopped using their mock however, because their algorithm place is too high a value on quarterback and especially second quarterbacks, so I find it throws off the draft about five rounds in, typically. I’ve been using the Sleeper app, who’s mock seems to take that a little bit better into consideration and also allows for third round reversal in its settings, which is what we run with our nutty top heavy scoring system.

Yeah, I could see that. We have a crazy, high bonus, 2PPR system, so he’s pretty valuable. Just needed to make sure that I wasn’t missing something. Had to pick my derby draft order.

I couldn’t agree more, which was why I was concerned that maybe I missed something in the news. He’s been at 1.05 forever, but for some reason on FFcalculator’s full PPR ADP he’s dropped to 2.03? Maybe somebody has too much time on their hands and is trying to drop his ADP for some reason? Just seemed weird.

Why? Great post. Don’t agree on Howard points, however. Heath Miller had 2 Probowl years under Arians. I think Arians is good enough to play to his strengths, rather than shoehorning players into their system like so many lesser OCs do. OJ is a physical freak, much more so than Miller was. Not to mention that you have a QB in Winston with a propensity for using the TE already.

Sorry, didn't wish to hijack a thread, just suggesting that in my scoring system, I'm considering Jones.

He wasn't even in the mix until he was announced the starter. Now, I'm trying to decide in a 2ppr league who to flex b/tw Jones, Crayton, Furrey, Deshaun Foster, and Chester Taylor. I still have no idea what to do. Clocks a tickin' though.

OGAR, were you looking for a thread more like the one that Electric Mayhem used to keep, a post with runninng updates on injuries, suspensions, and the like? Not necessarily a "bust" list.

For what it's worth, a couple more things to consider: 1) With the addition of two blocking tight ends, I think Minn.'s line is MUCH better than Atlanta's. 2) Minn. has a pretty stout defense, allowing them to play the most boring ball control offense in the league. Run on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. 3) I think that it'll be a situation almost identical to Jax. last year. Plenty of carries to go around, and limited to NO passing.
