Very solid roster. In my 11 keeper league I went with QB-Murray RB-Taylor, Williams, Walker & Stevenson WR-London, Aiyuk, McLaurin & Hopkins TE-Kelce & Engram Had 2 first round draft picks and went with Brooks & McConkey. Feel pretty good about mine, 12 teams but there’s one roster in the league that’s better. Another 1-2 that are comparable to mine.

Have White in one of my dynasty leagues (RB2, not 1) and he seems to be a very popular “bust” candidate among experts. I don’t expect him to be top 5, but thoughts on him at least being in the 12-15 range among RB’s in PPR?
-
Not a cut, but Niners placed E. Mitchell on season-ending IR. Mason looked pretty good in camp, so stashed him at the end of my bench in multiple leagues in case CMC gets hurt.

In the Yahoo prize leagues, can you play in a league with 1-2 people you know, or is it totally random?

Taking a shot on Luke McCaffery in several leagues.

Chatter again on the Commanders side about Aiyuk. Still think his best move is staying in SF, but wouldn’t be a bad move for either side. Washington could give him the $ he’s looking for and still be well under the cap.
-
Any thoughts on Aiyuk? Figured something (new contract or trade) would have happened by now, but what if it doesn’t? Does he sit or play out the final year of his deal in SF?

Wow. Dallas kicker just kicked a 66 yard field goal.

I’m tempted to draft him earlier than I draft K’s normally. Especially leagues with a bonus for 50+. His range is pretty much anything past midfield, and Dallas’ offense will get there often. -
Yeah, in the $ leagues I play in, D/ST is pretty much an afterthought. About half the league gets a top 10 D and sticks with them, and the other half streams. Rare for owners to carry more than one.

I’m eyeing Seattle the first couple of weeks. Middle of the road in the rankings, but play Denver & New England to start.

UPDATE: QB J.J. McCarthy Out for the Year - Knee Injury

With the Addison news, don’t think I’ll touch anyone on the Vikes. Aaron Jones will see a stacked box, and JJ will get double coverage. -
As someone who has Aiyuk in 2 keeper leagues, preference is Cleveland. His value might drop a little, but still probably a solid top 20/WR2. New England probably drops him more in the 25-30/WR3 range.
-
If both are still on the board when I need an RB3/Flex, I’d go Warren in PPR, Harris if standard. I’d be concerned if either are my RB2.
-
Would probably depend on if the Niners get a vet WR as part of a deal for Aiyuk. If not, I’d probably put Pearsall in with the Coleman, Odunze, Worthy, McConkey, Thomas Jr., Legette 2nd tier of rookie WR’s, behind Harrison & Nabers.

Justin Herbert and DeAndre Hopkins both injured

Yeah, our draft isn’t for 3 weeks so I’ll probably see how the preseason goes, and whether Hopkins is trending towards playing in week 1. We don’t have to lock in our keepers until the night before the draft. My other keepers are Murray (QB). Taylor, K.Williams, Stevenson (RB). Aiyuk, London, Dell, McLaurin (WR). Kelce, Engram (TE). Hopkins isn’t going to make or break me and I have the #7 & #9 picks of the 1st round. -

In a league where we keep 11, and before this news Hopkins was my 11th keeper. Probably still will since my other options are Shakir or D. Douglas, but great way to start the preseason. -
I’m sure Moss won a lot of folks their league in 1998. Ours was a pretty simple scoring league with TD’s, bonus for 100+ rushing/receiving, and 300+ for passing. I had a couple of games Moss nearly outscored my opponent by himself.
-
First team was 1997 and first ever draft pick was Barry Sanders #2. Was about the only draft pick I got right as I filled my team with good players from Super Bowl contenders rather than who was a better pick from a fantasy perspective. Took some lumps, learned my lesson, and won my first $ league the next year. Lineup that year was Favre at QB…Eddie George & Robert Smith at RB’s…Herman Moore, Rod Smith & some rookie flyer I got late named Moss at WR’s…Ricky Dudley at TE.

Just Ignore the Media Experts: They Have No Clue
makindollaz replied to wolves111's topic in FFToday Board
Yep. In one of my $ leagues we have a guy who I believe in rounds 9-12 last year took Achane, Puka & McBride when there was very little buzz about any of them (at least at their ADP’s) from the “experts”, then drafted Goff as his starting QB in the last round. Guy does stuff like this every year…his team name is The Time Machine. Should have his own show. -
The old ownership would have already traded McLaurin and 2 future #1’s for Aiyuk, and given him a contract 20% above market value.
-
You do know the franchise was sold last season, and it’s a whole new front office/staff, right? If this were the Snyder era I’d agree, but the new group seems to know what they’re doing.
-
The interior OL could be very good, but the OT’s are a concern. I believe right now that could be the reason we don’t have an offense at least in the top half of the league.
-
As a long suffering Washington fan, I’d love to get him. We have a mountain of cap room, and he’s good friends with JD from their ASU days. Would imagine we’d have to give up a WR and picks…hopefully would be Dotson and not McLaurin.
-
I like Ekeler at his ADP. Wouldn’t want him as my RB1 or 2, but think he could be useful as a FLX or bye week fill in play.
-
In PPR, don’t like R. White at 16, Deebo at 30, or McBride at 34. IMO at least a round early in 12 team for each…2 rounds early for McBride, who I like, but not in the 3rd round.
