7 people clicked on the link in 5 minutes. This forum is filled with people that are avid fantasy football players that take interest in matchup scenarios. I'd think you would be aware of that given that you have posted on this site over 22,000 times.... Thanks though. I'll consider your input in future discussions. Enjoy your post total. -
I'm down by 5.9..I got 2 players left and so does he..

I'll even throw in a prediction... Shaub 15 + Boldin 8 = 23 + 5.9 = 28.9 , AP 18 + Rice 12 = 30. You win! -

I think I disagree with everyone. You easily have the advantage. I see AP as being equivalent to Schaub + Boldin combined (as long as he's healthy). That leaves Rice to cover 5.9 (given some of the stinkers he's put up this year I know that's no guarantee but he's been better of late). The only way I give an advantage to your opponent is if Peterson is limited or if QB TDs are worth 6. Good luck! -
Up 51 with Nicks and S.Rice remaining. Opponent has E.Manning, Boldin, A.Peterson, and NYG Def. If Nicks is limited I think I'm in serious trouble.

At WR I'd go with TO. Look for Cincy to go down early and start airing it out. For the Flex it's a tossup between LT and SJax. I'd personally go with SJax b/c he doesn't have as big of a threat to steal carries. Maybe take a look at some Jets forums to see what the homer perspective is on the LT/SGreene split this week. I actually kinda like Orton over Brady this week. You could call that a gut feeling though. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=377798

I'm sitting at 7-5 right now and in 4th place. Six teams make the playoffs and with one just below me at 7-5 and two others at 6-6, I really need a win this week to seal the deal! Standard scoring, non-PPR, start 2RBs, 2WRs, and a flex. I am choosing from... WR Sidney Rice vs. Buf Ben Obamanu vs. Car Blair White vs. Dal Danny Woodhead vs. NYJ RB Steven Jackson vs. Ari Fred Jackson vs. Min B. Green-Ellis vs. NYJ Brian Westbrook vs. GB Brandon Jacobs vs. Was Kieland Williams vs. NYG Danny Woodhead vs. NYJ I really wish we could still make trades in my league (deadline was in week 10) since I'm really deep at RB and incredibly thin at WR. Unfortunately I have to deal with what I have. Pick 2 WR's, 2 RB's, and a FLEX!!! Post a link and I'll hit you back.

best NFL WR of all time that started at QB for his College team?
JKAP21 replied to edjr's topic in FFToday Board
Played QB at all in college.... Hines Ward Played predominantly at QB.... Josh Cribbs!! (QB for 4 years at Kent State... hasn't had much of an impact specifically as a WR but that is his position and he will go down as the greatest return man in the history of the NFL) -
2 teams, both money leagues! Both leagues start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, Flex, TE, K, Def .5ppr Starters for next week in bold Team 1 QB-V.Young, K.Orton, M.Ryan RB-C.Johnson, R.Rice, LT, A.Bradshaw, J.Snelling WR-M.Austin, M.Colston, C.Ochocinco, J.Maclin, B. Non-PPR league, Need to pick 2 WR's and a Flex for this week... Colston vs. Washington Ochocinco vs. Detroit Austin vs. NYG Maclin vs. Atlanta LT vs. Cleveland I'm comfortable playing any of these guys this week. Unfortunately 2 of them have to sit and I don't want to make the wrong call b/c the #1 seed for my league's playoffs is on the line. I'm almost certainly going to play LT at the flex, but just included that in here in case anyone thinks I'd be better off starting 3 WR's (keep in mind it's non-ppr). hmm...? Leave a link for yours.

4 pts per pass TD 6 pts per rush TD 1 pt per 25 yds pass 1 pt per 10 yds rush I'm actually leaning towards V. Young here due to injury concerns w/Manning (I only have 1 roster move left) and that V.Young has been very consistent and seems to be improving each week. Also my league's scoring favors running QB's. I've clinched a first round bye in my league's playoffs so whoever I pick up I will need for just weeks 15 and 16. Week 15 V. Young vs Miami E. Manning vs Washington Week 16 V.Young vs San Diego E. Manning vs Carolina I also have Matt Ryan and Kyle Orton so I could use them for one of those weeks as well. Week 15 Ryan vs. Jets Orton vs. Oakland Week 16 Ryan vs. Buffalo Orton vs. Philly What do you recommend???...will answer yours (leave link)

Ok just noticed "major penalties for INTs and incompletions". Stick with Charles.
-
I aggree... S.Rice, J.Charles, and Forsett I actually might consider starting Cutler though over Charles depending on your scoring system. Since they're playing the Rams he's a bit of a lower risk this week.
-
AJ Harvin Collie AJ is without question. For the other two I chose based on favorable matchup/better QB's If SJax is out... tough call but I guess I would go w/ Jamaal Charles b/c Snelling will most likely split carries and I really don't see Detroit's offense doing much against Cincy.

I think I'd take that deal. Romo's been good as of late, but Manning has been putting up those numbers all year and is the safer bet to continue to do so. I see the gap between Wayne and Fitzgerald to be much less. Fitz hasn't been all that great thus far but he's still putting up WR1 numbers. His production is likely to increase with the Boldin injury. Wayne's might actually decrease once Gonzo returns. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=356101

Non ppr league, start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, FLEX, TE, K, D My team... QB- M.Ryan, Orton RB- Chris Johnson, R.Rice, LT, A.Bradshaw, R.Moats WR- Colston, Ochocinco, M.Austin, J.Maclin, Berrian, A.Bryant, TE- T.Gonzales K-Akers D- Saints His... QB-Brees, Garrard RB- B.Jacobs, K.Moreno, Felix Jones, S.Morris, D.Ward WR- Boldin, S.Moss, L.Evans, T.Ginn TE- D.Keller K- K.Brown D-Atlanta, Tampa Bay His team is very weak at WR/RB. Since I have pretty decent depth at both positions i was thinking of offering... M.Ryan, LT, Ochocinco for Brees Am I giving away too much if I do this? It would leave me with a tough call at flex every week (between bradshaw, moats, Maclin, Berrian instead of my current option of LT or Ochocinco). However Brees is obviously a huge upgrade and I think it would be worth the headache. If you had Brees what would you expect in a trade offer from me?? leave link... i'll assist with yours.

While Rivers has been a bit inconsistent, I don't think that b/c of his inconsistencies I would rank Roethlisberger (who can also be inconsistent) ahead of him. Because of that I can't justify starting Roethlisberger with a worse matchup over Rivers. At WR I'd go with Marshall for sure (even though it's PIT, he's still your #1) and then maybe S.Smith. NO is likely to go up quickly on CAR leaving them with no option other than airing it out for the rest of the game and who knows, maybe this will be the week S.Smith breaks out of his funk (you said it would prob have to be a gut decision). Then again, if we're basing this simply on gut (which I suppose I am) I'd rather go with my own gut than someone elses so perhaps you should stick with Hester. TE- I'd take that trade. It would make your WR and TE decisios much easier. A semi-struggling Gates is much more valuable than a super-struggling S.Smith. Gates might be the best value you'll get.
-
Tough call. Initially I was going to say don't do it, but considering that you play .5/rec Andre Johnson is actually slightly more valuable than Turner. Based on the way your lineup is set up you'd essentially subbing one for the other. Go for it. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=356101

What if I tried Ryan/Ochocinco/Bradshaw? He might like the idea of having both Bradshaw and Jacobs. This way I could still have LT at the flex and would just be trading my WR + RB depth to upgrade from Ryan to Brees. This was actually the original trade I had in mind but I was afraid that he might think that it wasn't enough and be turned off to the idea of trading Brees at all. Another thought was proposing the first one (Ryan, LT, Ochocinco) and have him throw in Moreno as well. Your thoughts?
-
Yeah I'd be interested to see who else he has. You certainly need to upgrade at QB/RB2 but I'm not sure that Eli/Hightower would be the answers. You're essentially giving up WR1 for QB2 and RB3. I suppose the trade could help you if the Giants turn it around and Hightower continues to get significant touches. However those are both pretty big IFs and I think you'd be able to get better value for Moss elsewhere.

thought I was on the "a little help board"... just realized my mistake... disregard, I'll post there.

Non-ppr league, start QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, WR/RB, TE, K, Def My team QB- M.Ryan WR- Colston, Ochocinco, M.Austin, J.Maclin, B.Berrian, A.Bryant, D.Henderson RB- C.Johnson, R.Rice, L. Tomlinson, A.Bradshaw, C.Williams TE- T.Gonzalez K- D.Akers Def- Saints His team QB-Rivers, Orton WR-A.Johnson, S.Holmes, B.Edwards, H.Nicks, M.Crabtree RB-S.Jackson, K.Smith, McFadden, Coffee TE-H.Miller, K.Winslow K- Lindell Def- Eagles, Colts He wants to add depth to his RB's. I have plenty of it. Chris Johnson and R. Rice are nearly untradable for me right now (unless he packaged S.Jackson or A.Johnson somehow) and I think its too early to give up on LT so I think Bradshaw is my best option here. Once again its... M.Ryan/Bradshaw for Rivers/McFadden McFadden is basically a throw-in here so I don't have to use a roster move. So this pretty much boils down to whether or not Rivers is a significant enough of an upgrade from Matt Ryan to warrant trading Bradshaw. Considering that Bradshaw is currently riding my bench I am leaning towards making this deal. Your thoughts...
-
Good trade... you've significantly upgraded your RB depth leaving you with 2 RB1s and 2 RB2s. Perhaps you lose a little bit with Manningham for Berrian but considering your WR depth you're not likely to use either of those players from here on out. Bush has value only in the event of injuries to Bell/Thomas. Currently not worth starting. Nicely done. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=354762
