Thats unfortunately the reasoning behind bama over fsu. Better competition, tighter game, more money. This is the one part of the current setup i am glad goes away. But between NIL, the 12 team playoff, transfer portal, etc. College football is no longer what it used to be and IMO that sucks. For example, michigan v ohio state two weeks back, in the future that game is for nothing more than playoff seeding.

I forget if you are a Mich or MSU guy, but i will ask this assuming wolverine fan: Who would you have rather faced.. FSU or Bama?

Nice. Jets HC graduated from my HS 12 years after me.

This stuff and the Edex Golf pool are the only redeeming qualities of this place since the FBGheys invasion. Needless to say dont hang around much. MSU seems to have some decent individual talent this year. Whether they can be disciplined, avoid a gazillion turnovers, and make free throws will be the keys. Slow start for sure.
