They werent very good to begin with IMO. Too many holes in the lineup, guys overachieving at start of season (tork, baez). And a reliance on unproven starters or middling guys like flaherty. Also, the bullpen doesnt miss a lot of bats.

I will be in Vegas, so will utilize a proxy ( i will split any proceeds 50/50 if someone wants to step up). Otherwise, i will just go "best available" from some list.

I went to so many games as a kid and got there early for BP to many of them to no avail.1984 season was my senior year of HS and went to 30+ games that year. Finally caught one during BP and then the floodgates opened. 3-4 foul balls, 3-4 BP balls, and one HR (visiting Ernie Whitt) since. Kept the HR and gave the others to my kids that were with me or to other kids that brought a glove or whatever (that looked serious about getting a ball on their own).

Not to mention about 5x the number of dooshbags. Giantsfan being the worst thing about the place for the most part pales in comparison to today. Shoot, even the biggest dbag troll (newbiejr) back then had a tolerable side...like with music or pop culture in general.
