Jakobi had a career year last year (fantasy wise) and gets reunited with McDaniels. The Raiders traded Waller and talk is Renfrow might be let go. If so, that makes Meyers the clear #2 target in their offense. With Adams drawing the attention of defenses, that should give him a lot of opportunity. -

Was hoping Gabe Davis would fall, but sitting on three RB's (one with medical problems) it's probably good he didn't. I think Harris had the most to offer from what is left. I think he'll be the early down back and will be used on the goal line. He's two years removed from a 15 TD season where he was sharing time so I think he has a pretty high floor. -

Was eyeing Tua for this pick as I was not expecting six teams to grab a back up QB in front of me (very pleased I did not pass on Geno last round). When he went I was satisfied with getting JSN to stack with Geno. Thanks, again, Guru. Decided to gamble on what I believe is either going to be a home run pick or a major whiff. He's been labeled by some as the most athletic QB ever and looked like Superman at the combine. He has the coach who developed Herbert and Hurts guiding him. But he is extremely raw and very well might not start the year. I think, and am hopeful, that when he does take the reins he'll play to his potential. -

Was very tempted to wait another round (technically two) on a QB as I was the last to take one. But knowing the history of the league (thanks for the clue in robb), two to three backup QB's usually go in rounds 9-10. There were very few QB's that I liked left, so I grabbed my favorite and the one that I think has the most upside. Geno was QB6 last year. With a year under his belt in the system and the addition of another fantastic weapon, I'm hopeful he can produce similar numbers. -

Minnesota ranked 3rd in pass attempts last year and they lost their RB1. Adam Thielen took his 107 targets to Carolina. I believe Jordan Addison is better than Thielen, so he should be able to at least top Thielen's WR30 ranking last year. I'm good with that from my WR4. -

I should have looked at the June mock to get an idea of some you guys' drafting tendencies. -

This is my first pick that I feel is a real gamble. Williams flashed and showed signs of being a true stud, but last years injury puts all that in question. Good news is he's in camp and not on the PUP. I'm expecting a slow start from him, but once he gets ramped up to speed (and shows no lingering effects of the injury, fingers crossed) he could be a league winner in the second half of the season. -

Moore is good value at this point. He was one I was considering instead of Goedert. -

And again. As I saw Dobbins slowly dropping to me I stood up to do a happy dance with both fingers crossed. Then I saw Guru only had one running back and I sat back down. Dobbins was in the discussion when I took Sanders two rounds ago, so it was a gut punch losing him by a pick. Thanks, Guru. As the RB's left that I'm interested in all fill the same tier, I decided to pivot. Goedert is the last TE that I feel very confident about. There are a couple of others that I like, but they carry question marks. Goedert, on a per game average, was TE5 last year and only scored three TD's. With some positive regression, he could crack the top three. -

If Washington could get Terry McLaurin a QB he'd be a sure-fire WR1. As it is, he's had the likes of Case Keenum, Dwayne Haskins, Colt McCoy, Kyle Allen, Taylor Heinicke and Garret Gilbert throwing him the ball. He's still put up three straight 1,000+ yard seasons (and one 919 yarder). It's looking like Sam Howell will be taking the reigns, which doesn't instill a great deal of confidence, but Scary Terry appears QB proof and in Howell's one game last year McLaurin saw a 33% target share. So he's got that going for him. -

For what I expect is not the last time, Guru swiped me. Jackson was the last QB in my "I want him" tier, so it looks like I'll punt that position for now. After looking at the RB's I see a virtual wasteland approaching. Sanders (and maybe one other) was the last one I felt really confident in. I believe the rest all have large question marks attached. Carolina was a top ten rushing unit last year and Carolina led the league in rushing after trading McCaffrey. Sanders was brought in by a coaching staff who is very familiar with him (Reich, Staley) and word is they want to get him more involved as a pass catcher (which is excellent news in a PPR). -

As Vikings said, RB/WR has been hit hard but there were a couple of WR's I'm still high on. Olave was at the top of that list. He had more fantasy points per game than Garrett Wilson last year (who most people have as a clear cut top-10 WR) and he got a significant upgrade at QB. -

Good to see my first draft of the year is shaping up like my drafts every year. After Jacobs was off the board I had three targets that I would have been thrilled to get. I watched them go one by one in front of me (Pollard, St. Brown and Waddle). Shifting to Plan B I had to select someone I was not as fond of. I settled on Stevenson, who I may come to love depending on if the Patriots sign someone to share the backfield, which would make this a potential disaster of a pick. Stevenson finished as RB10 last year and didn't even start the first six games. There is no more Damian Harris and he actually has an offensive coordinator this year. I'm expecting top eight numbers out of him at the position. -
