The video doesn’t address the sugar vs HFCS debate. Obviously, though, they both lead to bad outcomes in excess. I think the sweetening of soda debate is kinda stupid right now. There’s so many other things to fight for that would probably make more of a positive impact on people’s health. What is true though, is that HFCS causes more inflammation than sugar. If two people with identical BMI, lean mass, vital signs, etc are assessed , you can’t argue that the more inflamed person is as healthy. Theyre literally walking around while their organs are being damaged. Not everyone who is fat gets NAFL, gout, or reduced kidney function. Inflammation plays a significant role in those and a host of other problems.

I’ll be making myself a legit breakfast this morning for the first time in a while. I always loved breakfast, and we still do a big brunch every Sunday(every third calendar Sunday) at the firehouse. But, real breakfast seems to have fallen out of favor, to some degree. I know a lot of guys who just do coffee up until lunch. The IF phenomenon has definitely had an impact on people eating breakfast. Who still eats legit breakfast every morning?
