Living in firehouses, I’ve had meatloaf most ways you can imagine. It’s a staple. Oct-March, it’s prob cooked once a month. The best I’ve had(mine) is ground beef with chopped peppers and onions and a touch of tomato sauce, Lawrys, eggs, eye-talian bread crumbs, W sauce, etc. Another good one is ground turkey with stove top in place of bread crumbs. Cracker Barrel meatloaf on a winter day is hard to beat too.
