    First Amendment Auditors

I worked in as a LEO in an Arson task force for a while and dealt with some of these folks. I actually enjoyed conversing with them. The camera dude said all the right things, and didn’t really act like too much of an a-hole in this particular instance I don’t think. There’s plenty of cops that try to instantly do a bully/intimidation act to see if they can get you to back down, like these clowns did. Like the dude said, they can ask what ever they want, but you don’t have to answer. They word the questions to make it sound like your obligated to comply. I think he did fine, but still a little crazy wanting to pick a fight just to get a response.

    Lions 2pt attempt

*Not a Lions fan* I’m just picking through Twitter trying to make heads or tales of the 2pt conversion that was flagged. Video shows Goff sending Decker (68) over to the refs before the play. And then 70 runs up after. If 68 reported, there’s no penalty, he was basically a TE. From Campbells presser, it sounded like a play that was reviewed before the game for compliance, and refs fuked it up. Sounds like 70 was there to confuse Dallas, and refs got 68 and 70 confused. You can clearly see 70 saying “I didn’t say a thing” after the flag was thrown.
  3. I understand that it’s more difficult for some than others, but to say it’s based on race is ignorant. There’s a ton of dirt poor white people that don’t have privilege like public transportation or governmental office within walking distance.

  5. This is what Reuters has devolved to? This reads like a Vox article. JFC
  6. The clowns running the sanctuary cities don’t ever want to answer this question…just WTF is Texas supposed to do if they don’t send them elsewhere? Actual border states have been taking it up the poop shoot for decades while sanct cities are just virtue signaling.

Refs should be prepared for any scenario within the rules, especially when it was explained to them earlier.

PointsBet had a 25% boost on any wager. Took the LSU 3way 1Q ML boosted to -114. Whisky scores ZERO or 3 in first quarter. A lot. They only have 3 1Q TDs all season. Only thing is push is a loss.

DraftKings has 50% profit boost on any CFB parlay. I only did 2 legs. Bama 1H +3.5 and LSU. ml. Good deal since don’t have to do 3 legs like their normal boosts. I had $10 limit

Lainey Wilson has a fine a$$
  12. If he employs his “independent contractors” as infrequently as he says, Cali prob has some carve outs that would make it a moot point.
  13. This is great, and not shocking at all. Tim the business owner appears to not know labor law exists, then confuses it with tax law, and then completely blows it off. You cant make this sh!t up.
  14. I understand that. You’re ignoring actual labor laws, which aren’t tax laws. You’re referring to IRS obligations. I’m referring to California labor regulations. You have legal obligations as an employer that have ZERO to do with reporting anything. They’re two entirely different things.
  15. It’s obvious you don’t know what I’m talking about, and I don’t mean that in a sarcastic way. The following is not professional advice, just some things to consider. Do with it what you will. Even though we disagree on stuff here, I feel compelled to mention this stuff to be helpful, not in a righty vs lefty nature. You citing your necessity to report/not report something based on how much you pay them, is tax law, not labor law. Not meeting tax reporting thresholds, doesnt absolve you of employers responsibilities.Just because you think they are a “contractor” or even if they tell you that, it’s your legal obligation to provide burden of proof that they are actually contractors. If they aren’t the owner of a legitimate business providing a service or trade, they aren’t contractors. If they aren’t contractors, they are employees. That opens a whole other can of worms of your obligations. In addition, I believe if you employee more than 5 people, you fall under OSHA mandates which is obviously another can of worms of responsibilities towards workplace safety. You can see how the practice of employing non legit people(migrant or US citizen) makes it hard for contractors who do things the right way and have to charge more for services to keep a roof over their head. But, it seems that this occurs with you on such a small scale, that all this is probably a moot point.
  16. “Fortifying” elections is the proper term
  17. LMAO…just because you seek to “use” them as contractors for tax purposes, doesn’t mean they are. The State of California’s labor laws establish whether they are contractors or not. Youre not paying legitimate contractors wages as day laborers. What a crock of sh!t, but you knew that already. In all seriousness, I imagine a smart guy like you has attorneys on retainer. I would seriously have your business model evaluated to see if they pass the “employee vs contractor” test.
  18. Tim, Kentucky has Voter ID. What was their goal by enacting that law? Is there no study of voter disenfranchisement in a state that’s over 80 white, as poor as any black neighborhood, and even MORE remote from the resources to obtain IDs?
  19. It’s OK Tim. You’re cut from the same same cloth as many lefties. You’re not alone. Your self perception of being morally right overrides the necessity of being factually correct. AOC even said this about herself. You’re in good company.
  20. And there you have it folks. As usual, with Tim, it’s all about his perceptions and feelers, not objective truth. He’s proven to be a joke once again. But, he knows this and will readily admit it.

    Lions 2pt attempt

This is a variable an actual former defensive player brought up on the radio last night. Thats a whole other can of worms.
  22. Ok, I’m looking for more on the specific GA situation and their anger. Why do you fear this is a short term result? Do you mean actual record turnout, or their ability to produce an ID would be short term?
  23. I will read later. But does it specifically cite why GA had record turnout because they were p!ssed off, but expound on why it could be bad long term?

    Lions 2pt attempt

It makes no sense that 70 would report and then he goes and lines up in an INeligable position, but 68 doesn’t report and lines up in an eligible position?
  25. So, how did having an ID requirement negatively affect the black voters in this instance? How will it negatively affect them going forward?
