When nuance appears, Tim runs for cover. Police encounters are completely about nuance. Small details about what is said or what is known, makes a world of difference. Because of your ignorance, situations appear scary or unfair to you. You’re one of those guys that looks at a situation and says “that just doesn’t feel right”.

I don’t doubt that something happened, and you witnessed it, but there’s still details left out. First, if there was a crime committed in the area, a detention was reasonable. What’s the CA state law on time for detention during an investigation? If a black man was described as the perp, is it racist to detain a black man?

So they literally walked up, said nothing, dragged him to a police car, held him for several hours, and just eventually told him that a black man committed a robbery and that they detained him because he was black?

Ok. Let’s break each one down, addressing what appears to be the most egregious. What did the police say to your friend when they approached him? And define “dragged away”. Where did they take him and for how long?

Ok, so we’re getting somewhere. Your main concern is that you see legitimate arrestees treated disparately based on race only. Is this correct?

I was referring to Tim Hauk. Sorry for confusion. But as a response to you, there are cops that treat people sh!tty. People of all races take that brunt, and it’s wrong. I’ve seen a ton of aggressive policing towards whites. Police encounters are extremely nuanced. That, coupled with ignorant people who don’t know what cops are actually allowed to do, produces most of these escalations. Tim, why do you think black women aren’t assaulted or killed by cops at the rate that black men are?

All good points. Saying this is a non relatable story is a good description. Even though most probably have an idea that these things happen, very few people want details. I don’t foresee her making the best seller list with this one.

Although, she was just an armed citizen at the time, and not in law enforcement capacity, Jean is probably the best example in recent memory that fits what Tim was looking for. Its hard to be less threatening than a dude chillin in his own crib.

I haven’t really been following the story, but what exactly are we upset about here? The simple fact a dog is dead? Do we think the dog wasnt dangerous to humans and livestock? The manner in which it was killed was inhumane? Someone holding public office is capable of this? That state laws allow this?

This is why everyone sees you as a joke or a troll. Your links that you posted yesterday focused on police shootings. Now, you say you have never mentioned shootings? You posted these to support systemic racism. You either can’t read, or you lazily just grab links that you think might agree with you without reading them.

Again Tim, we don’t know how to interpret your links. Theres no delineation between justified and unjustified shootings in there. An overwhelming number of police shootings are justified. How are your links supporting your narrative of systemic racism?

So, Tim, we can really get down to the heart of this if you would like. After perusing your “studies”, I don’t have much faith in them. For example, the article includes names of black men who were killed justifiably as an attention getter. There’s no delineation between justifiable situations and unjustifiable situations.So, what exactly is your main concern on this topic?
