I really liked what I saw from McCormick against the stout Chiefs run D on Friday. I'd probably rate him with the highest potential ceiling, but also has a very low floor.

SNF Discussion: 49ers at Bills - Week 13
rotisserieking replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
I remember this one vividly because I was playing against Brad Johnson (Vikings) and he got 13 points on the same play (6 pts passing TD, 6 pts receiving TD, 1/2 pt reception, 1/2 pt for 5 yard catch. -
The other reason I'd say KC is that Cleveland will not be able to run the ball, thus forcing Jameis to throw even more ala Monday night in Denver. And that went pretty well for the defense.

SNF Discussion: 49ers at Bills - Week 13

It's so confusing. This morning the stat line showed Allen with 0 targets, 0 catches, 7 yards receiving and a TD. Now they've removed him from the receiving stats but show him with 2 passing TDs but only 1 WR has a TD. So as of now no one has credit for the 2nd TD reception Player REC YDS TD TGTS Dawson Knox 2 56 0 2 Khalil Shakir 4 30 0 7 Quintin Morris 1 14 0 1 James Cook 1 13 0 1 Amari Cooper 3 12 0 3 Ty Johnson 1 9 0 1 Mack Hollins 1 7 1 1 Ray Davis 1 4 0 1 Zach Davidson 0 0 0 1 -

I'm just presenting the NFL Rules, which present a logical description of why this is not a "reception". It appears they have no defined stat for whatever happened Sunday night. I guess we wait and see when the stat corrections come out tomorrow. -

ARTICLE 2. PASSING PLAY A pass play begins with the snap and ends when a forward pass thrown from behind the line of scrimmage is caught by a player of either team or is incomplete. At the instant that a pass is caught, a Running Play begins. ARTICLE 3. RUNNING PLAY A running play begins in the following situations: (f) If there is a running play followed by a fumble or a backward pass, a new Running Play begins when a player of either team establishes possession of the ball. https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/nfl-rulebook/#article-2-passing-play -
SNF Discussion: 49ers at Bills - Week 13

How would you describe it? You cannot have 2 passes on the same play because by rule you can only have 1 forward pass. So if it's not a forward pass, it must be a lateral no? -

I believe that is correct. The initial WR gets the "reception" and the yards to that spot, then the second player gets the yardage from there and the TD. But what is weird as plasma george points out is how can you have receiving yards with no reception? I just looked and now nfl.com removed Allen from the receiving list but gave him an additional passing TD. So bizarre. -

And can people STOP screaming about Allen having a receiving touchdown already? Getting annoying - it was NOT a reception, even nfl.com agrees. It was a lateral, no different than a QB turning around and pitching it to an RB. It was a rushing touchdown. -
A Barkley owner complaining about getting only 20 points instead of 26

BOOM, a winner is me! 9-3, 1st place, highest points, playoff spot secured. And I won with the lowest winning score of the season by anyone. Lucked into the perfect matchup.

Because of horrible lineup decisions that would have given me the win yesterday, I need my opponent's Herbert and Chargers D to combine for less than 30.1 tonight.

I'm laughing at all the FUs to Jayden Daniels, and I was in that camp as well for 3 quarters but wow, what an insane 4th quarter. FU to team executives. The front office decided to bench said Jayden Daniels in favor of Bo Nix. And for 45 minutes it seemed like a glorious decision. And then... FU to Fairbairn for missing a chip shot FG that should have sent the game to OT. I needed those 3 points and possibly 3-5 more in OT) because I was an idiot and benched Daniels. Another FU to the front office who hovered over the "Add Jordan Addison" button for an hour before kickoff but decided going with Cade Otton would be "good enough." And FU to Baker, who had 296 yards passing midway through the 3rd, then got a -2, then got hurt and thus somehow managed to not hit the bonus prop of 300 yards. WTF

TNF Discussion: Steelers @ Browns - Week 12

Vegas nails it again. There was a reason the line was so small for an 8-2 team against a 2-8 team. -
I've got both Nix and Jayden Daniels. 1st half of season all Daniels, last 5 all Nix. This week, I have no clue (vs LV and vs Dal). I think they're both going to kill it this week so I might go with the weaker running game support (Nix).
-
Ugh. I mean my Najee start seems good but what to do with Tillman...not much on waiver wire. Maybe I bench him and plan on Otton. They've both got about the same projected points.
-
Or the fact that they're so bad at stopping the run that no one needs to pass on them
-
Jets start 2-3.....The Jets suck! It's Saleh's fault! Woody fires Saleh. Jets proceed to go 1-5.....The Jets suck! It's all Douglas' fault! Woody fires Douglas. Jets will now go 2-4 and finish at 5-12. And then who do they blame? Woody sucks and Rodgers sucks and they are the problem. But I don't like the Jets anyway so I'm enjoying this implosion.
-
Me too. Although I am considering Otton IF Evans doesn't play. I've never played a TE in the flex spot and not crazy about the idea but Otton has been money. I'm probably going to end up starting Tillman though and crossing my fingers. Jameis will need to sling the rock the whole game.

I can't believe Fairbairn did not get me the 34 I needed
-
But...he still had 8 targets. I wasn't watching the game so no idea why he only caught 3 of 8 passes (his fault? Winston's fault?) but I'm not buying the Elijah Moore hype. Yet. The FFToday wire article highlights Moore and his average of 9 targets in the last 4 games. Well guess what? Tillman is averaging TEN in that same stretch so don't be fooled (by Tillman or Moore).
-
FU to my opponent for rolling out the #1 RB and the #1 WR on me this week (Barkley and Amon). Had a decent day but can't overcome that. Maybe Fairbairn can get me 31 tonight And with Kittle out I grabbed Henry over Jonnu. Oops.

Jones reminds me of Marc Bulger back in they day. Very early on he was very, very good but as the O line got worse and he started getting hit and sacked a dozen times a game he just got shell shocked and was never the same. Remember all the Eli Manning face memes? I'd guess Jones has far worse on tape.

Did I hear correctly that he injured his left knee in practice ??
