I'd rank Wells 3rd on that list personally and decide b/w LT and Scott. Granted it's against the Rams and Wells had a good game last week but only MJD and Julius Jones (week 1 mind you) have gone over 100 against them - and that includes AP, Portis, Grant. Not saying he won't score but they usually pass like crazy against the Rams.

My response is this: too freaking bad. The trade went through and was approved, there's nothing that can or should be done about it. That's the chance you take with trades! If I were to trade for Ced Benson now and if tomorrow it turns out he's done for the season that's the chance I took. Granted it's known he's injured but still, similar concept.

In cases like these (rare in my league) I always either forward the email or voicemail to the entire league. In the case of the hunting incident there should be two other witnesses there to corrorborate the story - can they do that? If not, I might question it. It's tough as commish on things like this but so long as there's at least one more league witness it's good. First and foremost, do you trust your commish? If so, then leave it alone and keep this on file. Had a similar deal that caused me to lose to a bad team a few weeks ago. The commish's son (2-4 at the time) had not made a move in 3 weeks. I was playing him at 5-1 and all of a sudden Sunday mornig there's a move by the commish to pickup a player for a bye week. That player ended up beating me. The son has made only 1 move since then and it was done by the commish. Oh yeah, the commish was 6-0 at the time...I was pissed and think he took a look at the lineup and made the change on his own but whatever, karma will come back on him and I will whoop his ass in the playoffs.

I'm taking WAS as my loser pick this week so ATL is safe as a survivor IMHO

I have the Packers D but picked up the Dolphins for this week only. Might be crazy not to start the Pack as they've done well (about 8 pts/game) but I like Miami's matchup for some reason.

It's the whole don't bench your studs versus matchups argument. I'm actually thinking about benching McNabb this week for :gulp: Bulger. McNabb's career stats against NYG: 211 total yards and 1.4 TDs per game - not exactly tearing it up. Of course Bulger has not done much but he does get the luxury of going against the 31st ranked pass defense in Detroit. In the end though, I guess I would rather lose with McNabb throwing for 200 and a score than Bulger giving me 80 yds and 2 picks, which is possible.

I lost 2 weeks ago to the guy in first (5-1) and I'm now at 3-3. He beat me by 0.42 points in a ppr league. We award 0.50/catch so...I lost by one reception for ZERO yards. And watching the games I saw at least 2 drops by my guys

Already won 2 of my leagues but in the 3rd I'm basically tied with my CHris Johnson vs their Pierre Garcon. Of course the game would be over if Brady would have hit Welker on that slant - I have both and that was about 20 pts wasted. So F U Brady. Oh and a special to DJax for getting me 0.6 this week when everyone predicted top5.

And yet I still had a chance until 40 seconds left in the game. So a follow up FU to the Viqueens for not being able to stop the Packers on their last drive, enabling Driver to catch a pass (1.5 pts), Grant to catch a pass (2.2 pts) and finally Crosby to kick a field goal (3.0 pts) - I lose by 1.38 pts.

I saw that listed as a muffed punt - first time I've ever seen that before. Then the replay explained it. It's definitely a DEF/ST TD - seriously, that's the unit that was on the field at the time and they recovered for a TD so give them 6 pts. One of those 3 SF TDs is probably going to cause me a loss, freaking 34 pts from the defense. God my Rams are embarrasing.

This too is my dilemma. Have Garrard but not convinced. With PHI on bye I could grab Hill or Campbell. I'll probably just stand pat and go for it with Garrard.

The Rams give up the 4th most FF points to TEs so I would tend to think that fact, along with Coffee in at RB, might mean Davis gets as many looks Week 4. That being said, he's the ultimate underachiever

same guy as last year He took Jonathan Stewart at 3.02 ahead of KSmith, RBrown, PThomas, RGrant Rice. Half of the other owners in unison were like "wait, Stewart???" He took Rice at 4.09 but that's legit in my mind - Rice is going to start for the run oriented Ravens.

I've lost twice this season (different leagues) by less than one point, with one of thoe being 0.14 pts!) but the one that stands out in my mind was a few years back when Joe Horn was about to catch a 40 yard bomb, wide open at the goal line and the GD back judge didn't move and toko him out at the goal line. It would have been a 10/11 pt play and vaulted me into the playoffs. Instead I lost by 7 and missed the playoffs by 1 win.

Team was supposed to score 153 to my opponent's 118. Well he got 119, I got 117. BIG FU's go out this week to Warner (I had Boldin and Fitzgerald), Boldin and Cooley for fumbling (each at -2 cost me the tie and I owned tiebreaker), the Indy "defense" I picked up just for this week, and Jason Witten for falling inexplicably out of bounds at the 1 and allowing my opponent's Tashard Choice to score and beat me. And FU to Tashard Choice - WTF do you think you are?
