I posted a link to her LinkedIn page, which has since been deleted. But I got to read it before she deleted it. She was some type of reserve FEMA employee. She has another, real full time job, working for some financial services company of some sort up in Sux's area, but her LinkedIn page specifically mentions being a reserve FEMA employee. So I think she was an employee of FEMA when they need extra help such as the recent hurricanes. Hopefully her boss at her regular job gets wind of this and fires her a$$, in addition to FEMA who for whatever reason hasn't already done so.

Yes but you have to look at the purpose of the amendment when it was passed. In this case, the purpose of the amendment had nothing to do with immigration. It was enacted after the end of slavery to make it clear that slaves who had been freed were American Citizens.

No it wouldn't. It would just require another case to make it to the SCOTUS and for them to interpret the current amendment as it was intended and not how it was interpreted by a previous SCOTUS.

Trump can't do that. It's an interpretation of a constitutional amendment. Now, that interpretation could be changed by the SCOTUS and I would welcome that. Much like Roe, this SC ruling was always wrong so it would be great if they overturn it.

I disagree that he alienates people around him. He's had a lot of the same people working for/with him at his company for decades. He alienated a lot of people in Washington because he didn't know anyone in Washington and chose the wrong people. I think he's a lot more educated that he was last time and will pick much better people for his administration. As far as not being a smart person, I don't think it's debatable that he IS a smart person. I don't like the man personally. I think he's a d*ck. Jerry has tried to explain it to you in the past but you're apparently incapable of understanding that Trump talks in big picture terms and you have to parse what the actual intent is. His actions are intended to achieve a specific outcome. The methodology isn't what's important to him. So, when they get down to what the actual methodology is it may look markedly different than what he said in a speech, especially since so many of his speeches are off the cuff and not rehearsed over and over like Kamalatoe. Just like Tariffs. I will bet you $1000 right now that whatever he ends up doing on Tariffs will not be an across the board 20% Tariff. Just to get you on record, when The Daily Wire posts the following: Is it your stance that there is no one named Chad Hershey working for FEMA, that they are misquoting him, or making the entire thing up? I mean, they have a lot of facts. They aren't just saying some anonymous source said some anonymous supervisor did this. They have names and a response from FEMA unless you believe it's all made up. So I'd like you to go on record with what you think before more details come out, which I guarantee you they will.
