  1. No, you said Trump and Putin have spoken. And that if Trump wins the U.S. backs off, and IN RETURN Putin is doing everything he can to get Trump in to office. Here, let me post your quote again: Those are YOUR words. You can try to change the meaning of them now since I'm calling you out but words have meaning and those words are pretty damn clear. That's "baseless opinion." Unless of course you have some proof to back it up.
  2. Do you have a point, or are you trying to support my argument?
  3. No, that's not what you said. Here is EXACTLY what you said, quoted: That is 100% different than what you just posted GutterJanBrady.
  4. Now you're just making sh*t up. The only documented involvement with Russians in the 2016 election had to do with Hitlery and the Dems. That doesn't mean they didn't TRY to influence the election. But saying Trump had anything to do with that is ridiculous. If you have PROOF of Trump conspiring with Putin to influence the U.S. Presidential election I'd love to see it. But you don't because it doesn't exist. And, of course, the U.S. has been influencing elections all over the world for decades. You have zero problem with it but when it's "RUSSIA" you go ape sh*t. You're like Jan Brady screaming "Marcia Marcia Marcia" except your refrain is "Russia Russia Russia!!!!"
  5. This sure sounds like a baseless opinion

    Buying a House vs Renting

I tell young kids at work all the time to buy a condo. Sometimes you just can't afford your dream home the first go round. A buddy of mine from work named Joey lamented that every year his rent went up a significant amount and one year he moved to a worse apartment due to it. He wanted his first home to be a house and he wanted it to be nice. I told him the benefits to a condo are: 1) Cost certainty. You know what your monthly payment is and it won't change. In hot markets rent can increase crazy amounts. A condo is just like an apartment but it's yours. 2) You get the same benefits as a house in that you are building equity. So when you've saved enough for that HOUSE that you want you can then move on to that and have some equity to boot so your monthly payment didn't ALL go in to someone else's pocket. But generally, IMO, you want to get in to the ownership game as soon as possible if that's your end goal. If that's a condo so be it.

Had to put our cat Ninja down yesterday. :(((((

One last thing. Ninja is a pretty cool cat name.
  12. To me the low hanging fruit is the high school age kid you are ready to discard. If they don't want to study Shakespeare and Calculus maybe we should bring back shop class. There is a shortage of plumbers and Carpenters. Several of my best friends from HS didn't give a sh*t about academics but were damned good at trades. One owns his own construction company now and remodels celebrity homes. To me, the more difficult case is the young kid with apathetic, or worse, parents.
  13. I understand how you COULD get it on vacation. I question WHY you would choose to do so.
  14. You can't MAKE a kid want to learn. FORCING them to sit in class when they don't want to only hurts the kids that WANT to learn. And passing them when they don't learn the material, as is becoming more and more common, isn't giving them the skills you think it is.
  15. Aren't you on vaca? You get Morning Joe in Amsterdam? It wasn't even in studio. And they probably used scripted questions like he got caught doing twice last week.
  16. Good job resorting to personal insults. The kids lose when they're raised by idiotic progressive parents too but I don't want the government intervening there either.

This is one of the dumbest posts in the history of this forum, and that's saying a hell of a lot.

Pulling numbers out your a$$ again? And even if that was the case, I bet most would be from 2-3 of our most populous states like CA and NY. Why the fock should people in Wyoming and South Dakota be bound by what people in NY want? Why do you not care about state's rights?

Biden did radio interviews with two black radio stations to try to rehab his image after the debate. Turns out his people provided the questions to the interviewers: https://apnews.com/article/biden-black-radio-questions-approval-ff92ebeff33df7ef5a87a59f776c981c Fortunately, one of those radio stations has some ethics and got rid of the host who did the interview.
  23. Who's responsibility do you think this is? Look, as much as people like you like to think poor people are poor due to all the "disadvantages" they're born with by being poor or black or whatever, probably the most common thread among people who succeed in life is how involved their parents were in their childhood - the good habits and work ethic that were instilled in them. If a poor person wants their children to not be poor, the best thing they can do is be a good parent. If they believe their lot in life is already set, even though it doesn't have to be, there's no reason their children's has to be. But that's unlikely to happen if they don't do their job as a parent. And it's not society's responsibility to make sure THEIR kid shows up for focking school. FFS.
