Buffalo doesn't look that great to me. Yeah they can score at will, but they seem to lack discipline (lots of penalties) and their D doesn't seem that good at all.

Lots of time left for the bills, obviously, but I don't like the prospects of two meaningless regular season games followed by a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

And all the teams having to play 3 games in 11 days or whatever it is so the NFL can get games in on Christmas day.

Broncos head to the Bengals then host the Chiefs after this. It's possible they could be playing against Carson Wentz in week 17, but that game also could decide whether they make the playoffs or not. I don't think they have very good tiebreakers against the other teams that could end up 9-8.

I had to remind myself of the current conference standings. As of now playoffs would look like: 1. Chiefs (13-1) 7. Chargers (8-6) @ 2. Bills (11-3) 6. Broncos (9-5) @ 3. Steelers (10-4) 5. Ravens (9-5) @ 4. Texans (9-5) With the Colts, Dolphins and Bengals on the outside looking in at 6-8. The difference between being the 5, 6 or 7 seed feels pretty significant.
