Thats why Im thinking of changing my starters this week. The jets have said that they like his power so I am guessing that he will AT LEAST get goalline carries against a weak defense. Still a tough call for me.
-
as my flex starter..... this site has K Barlow as the Jets starter and Addai as IND backup Barlow or Addai?
-
Mostly a TD league with small yardage points. This is just a flex position. I could start a WR but the backs have a better chance at scoring. My team looks like this: Starters E Manning W McGahee J Jones J Addai R Moss M Jones J Feely Jacksonville D Backups B Johnson C Benson K Barlow D Gabriel R Brown G Jennings S Janikowski Atlanta D But I CAN swing a WR in there in place of the 3rd running back.

Brooks is risky because he could possibly loose his job if he faulters this season. He does have the better upside this season with Moss and Porter. Id take a chance on Brooks. Kitna will throw but to who?

Right on par for your pick IMO. Your Wrs are definately your strong point. I dont think your RBs are as weak as people may think. If Benson sees any carries down the road you could have a stud. -
I may be biased as a Benson owner but that simply is not true. The Bears will be making this switch as soon as Benson is healthy IMO. Smith made the announcement the other day and when asked about sharing time with Benson when he was healthy, he basically said that Benson would see more carries. They want him on that wall. They need him on that wall. Benson is a better back than Jones when healthy and the team wants to see what he can do. Im sticking with Benson as my 5th RB. If he starts by week 5 he will be a huge stud.

12 man league Eli Manning W McGahee J Jones J Addai R Moss M Jones J Feely Jacksonville D was thinking of K Barlow over Addai as my flex this week but havent heard any encouraging news this weekend

Kennison has BUST written all over him this year IMO. Is Gabriel worth picking up? Tis to laugh. I drafted him last week as a RAIDER. Now his stock is up IMHO. But you have some very solid WRs there. I would stand pat if I where you.
-
As stated above. Plummer FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Kennison is a bust. You definately want Boldin if you can swing it.
-
I had Stokley last year and had to drop him due to lack of production. He will have better numbers this year but no place close to 2 years ago. Coles is your best keep.
-
Last week I would have started Droughns over Parker but with Big Ben sitting this one out I would guess Cowher will run a bit more. Kind of a toss up to me as the Saints have not impressed defensively this preseason. I would definately drop Toomer for Jennings. The number 2 in GB is up for big numbers this year and Jennings is it!

This from the same guy who predicted he would win the MVP last year? Please.

Id have to say getting Randy Moss in the 4th round of a 12 team draft was a steal for me. I still remember drafting him 8th overall 4 years ago. He was a bust then but even if he catches 10 tds for me as a 4th rounder hes doin his job.
-
LOL....that would be nice. Especially with my RB situation. Im thinking 1500 12-14 tds. At least Im hoping. Hes a steal in the 3rd or 4th round where I got him.(picked last 12th)

Addai - Is in the same group as Cadillac, Edge and Westbrook?!?

Personally, I make up my own cheat sheets months before my draft and update them 1 week before the draft. I dont take stock in other peoples ideas. If you are one of the few who does, you need to re-evaluate your approach. Everyone has tried listening to an "expert" at one time or another just to have it bite them. That being said, I drafted Addai in the 5th round of my draft this season. I had him rated 20th on my list of backs. There is no shame in taking chances in fantasy football. That is how leagues are won. Larry Johnson was drafted in the 3rd round in my league last year by a non Holmes owning team. You can imagine how they did. They dominated the league. Very gutsy to take him that high but it worked out. I implied the same philosophy this season..... 12th Pick: 1 McGahee 2 J Jones 3 R Moss 4 E Manning 5 J Addai 6 C Benson 7 M Jones 8 K Barlow 9 R Brown 10 B Johnson 11 D Gabriel 12 Jacksonville D 13 A Smith 14 J Feely 15 Atlanta D 16 S Janikowski Chances people! -

Nicely done at that spot. Manning and Brown will be a lethal combo for you. And of course I really like the Matt Jones pick. I really think hes gonna have a huge breakout season. -
I play in a 12 team league with different rules offered from what I have seen as the norm. All players score the same: TDs from 0-15 yards=15pts from 16-25=20pts from 26+=25pts 1 pt for every 10yds rushing/passing/or receiving Field goals are graded on distance as well: 0-20=5 20-35=7 35-45=10 50+=12 No tight ends Your lineup must consist of: QB RB RB RB/orWR WR WR Kicker Defense My draft last night with the 12th pick: Eli Manning Brad Johnson Willis McGahee Julius Jones Cedric Benson Joseph Addai Kevan Barlow Matt Jones Randy Moss Reggie Brown Jay Feely Jacksonville Defense Any thoughts would be appreciated. Will answer any of yours. Thanks

I owned Aaron Brooks for the past 3 seasons. This year I wised up and picked Kerry Collins. ...I watched the Atlanta game last week and saw the shot callers report this week suggesting that brooks may finally ready to break out for the season. But has anyone but me ever noticed that in every game that Aaron Brooks meets up with his cousin Mike Vick he has a good game? Or nephew or whatever he is. I am convinced that this guy has the capability to play at a high level but doesnt motivate himself on a regular basis. He will have a let down again this week and you will see what I mean. He is by far one of the most incosistant football players I have ever seen. Have any of you ever noticed this trend? Can you name any other players that only arise to certain situations?
