J. Winston (Giants) or M. Ryan (IND) today? Standard scoring league. TDs are king. Winstons matchup is juicy today otherwise I wouldnt be contemplating this one at all. No penalties in this league for INTs or Fumbles. Thanks

I would agree if it weren’t for the 10.5 yards per ATTEMPT the G men are allowing. This may be the only matchup Winston starts for me this year outside of a bye week. But I’m really on the fence. Ryan plays well indoors...even away. QB is a key position in this leagues scoring.

I drafted the following team in a 12 team standard league: M. Ryan/J. Winston Da. Johnson, Ker. Johnson, S.Michel O. Beckham, Ant. Brown Following week 1 I have been offered a few trades from owners looking to buy low... Ive been offered Latavious Murray straight up for Kerryon Johnson - Considering this after realizing that I basically have two inconsistent "Pat Offense" backs on my team. Also offered Shady McCoy straight up for S. Michel - I have not considered this seriously but I would be willing to sweeten this deal a little and maybe try for another upgrade due to the same above reasoning. Ive never drafted a Pats back before due to the insane inconsistency as stated above but both of these guys fell to me and so I drafted them. I dont like the looks of it after week 1. Thoughts?

I agree with this. EVERY team was so focused on stopping LT every single game. Nothing else mattered in pass pro. He was virtually unstoppable. He was going to sack the QB. Reggie White was similar but not to the same extent. And as a heyday Bills fan, I can say that Bruce wasn't just a longevity sack producer. He was the real deal as well. But teams couldnt focus all of their attention on Reggie or Bruce. LT was a focal point for every team. You dont see that kind of commitment today. JJ Watt is/was a force to be sure. Kalil is a great linebacker but doesnt belong in the same conversation IMO.

D. Murray or Cohen this week PPR?

I dont know your scoring but I believe Rivers will be the better play this week. Unless you get significant bump for rushing yards I would go with Rivers over what appears to be a weak MIA secondary.

Im a little light at receiver but Im making due with a good running game this season in my standard league. Need to start one of the following WRs..... Jarvis Landry @ Chargers Randall Cobb @ Falcons Tyrell Williams vs. Dolphins I like all three this week but am leaning toward Cobb or Williams...any help would be appreciated. I drafted this guy in 2 out of my 3 drafts this year with my final pick in hopes of some production. Ive watched a lot of tape on him and he looks like an MJD type of back to me. Anyone else high on this back? And how long should I hang onto this guy before dumping him for WW help?

Pierre is tempting with his match-up and what is perceived as a lot of potential volume but Id go Benjamin just on upside alone....if Cam is playing that is. Too much Carolina is irrelevant if you believe in both players. My 2 cents.

I owned Rob Kelly last season and I agree with these assessments. I think he is a far less talented back as far as running the ball. I was unaware of Perines pass pro problems tho. That does make a big difference. I have a little wiggle room with my roster at the moment. I have 4 good RBs and can only play 3 at any one time. But there is always a big surprise WW stud in week 1 and Id hate to miss out on the action. We use a FAAB for WW....so......

Yup...Ive been back and forth all week. Leaning more toward Cook but he is still unproven. Of course K.Hunt was unproven til lastnight! Im so torn over this.....I think I need to trade one.

I didn't think he looked blazing fast either but that is rarely a defining trait for a quality RB in the NFL. I can live with a back being caught from behind if he is reading blocks, gaining yards after contact, and catching the ball. He showed all of those things lastnight. Hes definitely not Jamaal Charles. The only similarity is the uniform IMO.

I agree with this. Even if Peterson doesn't see another carry all year I believe they give him this opportunity and he puts one in.

Bills fan here and I hate to say it but even in a non-ppr I would play Powell.

If youre saying that QBs score the same as any other position (like my standard league) then I wouldnt pull this trade. Im not a big Hill fan but this guy is basing this trade on one performance and is obviously high on him. Rodgers is a stud if Im reading your scoring correctly. DJ is obviously a premium talent but is unlikely to score as many touchdowns this season. This trade would put you light at WR also. With all that being said....this guy is high on Hill after lastnights game (he probably should be) and he knows the value of Rodgers in this league. I would counter offer this by asking for his QB....if its someone you could live with. Or have him throw in a WR. Your waiver is full of talent at QB so you could make up the difference by picking up Palmer (has a good schedule to start the year) and Luck who if he comes back healthy will be a WW steal for you. But you need to make him pay. Strike now while Hills stock is high! You need to try to get a little more on that trade though.

Agreed he will be planned for but this guy looked liked the total package lastnight. And its hard to gameplan for an offensive line that looks dominant. Could be a result of a bad Patriots front but the blocking looked terrific and the kid was making tacklers pay.

Just need some opinions on the following trade.... I am sending Ben Rothlisburger, Lamar Miller and Demarco Murray He is sending me David Johnson, Carson Palmer, and Alvin Kamara in return He needs a QB as they score quite high in this league. I am essentially giving up two starting RBs for his 1st overall pick. I drafted Murray in the 2nd, Miller in the 4th and Rothilisberger in the 7th as my second QB. Youre absolutely right. I love Winston this year and only drafted Berger as insurance. The QB issue isnt an issue. And now my QB doesnt even have a bye week after week 1.

This does directly effect me this week and my opponent is up on me by 8 points without the gore TD going into tomorrows game. I have a kicker playing tomorrow. My argument would be this...if my team defense isnt on the field and the QB throws a pick 6 it will count against my team D. Happens all the time. This was a fumble return for a TD. Our league has already awarded those points to SFs defense and that should stand. Of course thats coming from the guy that is only down 8.

I had the 5th pick this season in my money league and got Foster. I followed that up with Richardson and MJD with Manning in the 4th. The first pick was traded in my league and Rodgers was taken first. That owner is on the outside looking in this season. The reason I got Foster at 3 is because Rodgers, Brees and Brady all went in the top 4. I think the overall value of the QB position was overblown this offseason and Im glad I stood pat and waited on a QB as Im sure most that did are. If I had picked AP over MJD i would have destroyed everyone this season. Still in first but it just goes to show that it still pays to wait on a QB. RB is still king!
