Ive got 3 Sleeper WRs this week!

I need to start 3 out of these 4. Brandon Marshall vs Giants on Trky Day Pierre Garcon vs Ravens Robert Meachum vs NE (feeling he'll go off/spidey sense) Anquan Boldin vs Titans I need this win to get to the playoffs. I actually benched Marshall last week and got lucky. What to do this week?

    Big trade involving Brady....

Without looking at the schedules I would say that is a pretty even trade. However, IMHO, the top 5 QBs are interchangable if you can upgrade in other areas. I like Fitz in this deal. Sometimes taking a risk like this pays off big down the stretch. I traded Brees and Slaton for Big Ben, B. Marshall, and L. Tomlinson 3 weeks ago. I was going nowhere and have won 3 weeks straight and placed 2nd in scoring during that span. Jennings may come alive down the stretch but I really like Fitz and Rivers here. I would do it personally.

    Brees trade value

I traded him lastweek in my money league as he was my only descent player. I got Big Ben, Tomlinson, and Brandon Marshall...He got Brees and Slaton.

Eli or Ryan...The lesser of two evils

Definately go with Eli. Coach C has been really tuff on his team this week heading into a bye. The G men will be ready.

    Some trade help

I was contacted by phone today by one of the other teams in my money league. He says he would like to talk about Drew Brees, my best and only player, in a trade deal. I am somewhat interested as I am goin nowhere atm. My league scoring is 10 pts for every 10 yards passing, rushing, or receiving and TDs are scored by distance with 25+ 20pts, 15-25 15pts, 0-14 10pts. League favors the QB but RBs are obviously at a premium. TEs are considered WRs. Must start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, K, D, and 1Flex (WR or RB). My team: Brees, Henne, Anderson Addai, Slaton, L Johnson, S.Greene, G. Coffee Boldin, Berrian, Garcon, Gates, Maclin, Stover Vikings,Cowboys His team: Big Ben,Flacco Gore, Tomlinson, J.Lewis, Cadillac V.Jackson,B.Marshall,Nicks,D.Henderson, Calvin Johnson He has offered me: Ben,Tomlinson,Marshall, and Nicks for Brees,Addai,Berrian, and Maclin...I have counter offered taking Addai and Nicks off the table. He will probably refuse but he is VERY interested. I feel like Ben could put up somewhat comparable numbers to Brees going forward but is an obvious downgrade. I do however think that Tomlinson has looked spry the past few weeks and is slowly coming around. He could be a force down the stretch. Im basically just taking chances here. Need to get some value by keeping his attention on that big name (Brees) Any suggestions? Will reply to yours, Thanks

    Critique this trade

Agreed totally. You are getting one of the best WRs in the league on a team that is getting hot and loosing what?

    All Time Greatest QB's

My list: Montana (Coolest, most accurate) Manning (If this list was about who makes his teamates shine, smartest) Favre (Toughest, best leader) Marino (Best pure arm) Brady (Best system QB) I have a ton of respect for the all time greats like Unitas, Starr, Tarkenton, Bradshaw, etc. But todays NFL is so much faster and the reads and defenses are so much more complicated that it just puts my list up on a pedastal IMO.

    FU Brett Favre

The Vikings are STUPID! Give that ball to ADP. Favre isnt the answer. The coaching staff is stupid in its play calling, the front office was dumb in bringing this guy in, and TJ should be throwing the ball. Im a Bills fan and I think the Vikes should take a page from ###### Jauron. Keep running that football even when there are 8 in the box. QBs and WRs with talent are for loosers! What are the Vikes now 2-4? Dumb!

OMG, why are we not talking about this

Im starting to come around. Obama has enhanced OSHA and begun hiring of many more field inspectors. Lets start fining the NFL for endangering its employess.

OMG, why are we not talking about this

Not that I have to defend anything to you but...he asked if I had ever played through a big toe injury and said "I doubt it." I rebuted with #3. As to your questions 1) no 2) yes 3) thanks

    Beware starting Bills players....

Im a Bills fan and I dont see why anyone would be starting for this team even against a crap team. They scored 3 on the Browns. Does it really matter that the Jets D is fired up?

OMG, why are we not talking about this

Thank you for the laugh sir. 1) you know that i used the term turf toe as an example of a new and emerging injury among NFL players 2) players dont play with injuries that they may have 15-20 years ago 3) i played an entire season with a broken big toe (doubt it all you want) 4) gimme a break Chad was fine after this play. I commend him for snapping up like he did. Ray Lewis is a model middle linebacker in the NFL. He is violent, intentional, emotional, and a great leader. I doubt there are NFL coaches out there looking at Ray saying ~ That Ray Lewis is so cheap! I would never build a D around a guy like that. The FACT is that the NFL is a violent sport. It always has been and now they want to "reduce injury" because of the money invested into these athletes and the revenue generated by the players. Unfortunately they are ruining the game for real fans who enjoy DEFENSE.

OMG, why are we not talking about this

Good call. I looked at this play a hundred times. Shoulder and forearm. And does anyone else remember the days when players protected the middle of the field with plays like this? You know, back when WRs played 10 years in the league and werent going down with "turf toe" My favorite sport is changing for the worst in so many ways.

    Richard Manual Jauron

As a long time Buffalo Bills fan, I was actually rooting for a big time loss today. Wilson is so set in his ways at this point (in his 90s) that he wont "waste" the money in firing Jauron who unbelievably was resigned last season. But my hope was for another loss to another terrible team that might make him wake up a bit. I really dont know if he will be fired this week but here in Buffalo we are praying for it. But to be honest, what does it matter? We keep hiring junk and polishing turds here in Buffalo. Wilson, Mularkey, and now Jauron....unless the Bills grab one of the greats returning to the game next season, I am through with these guys. It is too painful for me as a fan to watch these guys. Not many NFL fans can simpathize with a Bills fan. They always seem to find a way to squeak out a loss in the end. We are fed up with it and for those that watched the game today and saw the crowd boiling over with disgust, youve seen it. Its over for this guy whether he coaches again next week or not. The players are giving up. The front office is mailing it in. And the fans are ready to revolt. Ralph Wilson has taken advantage of the fans of this team for too long now. The signing of TO this off season was just enough to sell out the season. THATS how bad we want this team win. As for me, I cant take another game. I actually started Anderson on my FF team today in place of Brees. I shouted and screamed for the Browns to demolish the Bills. My wife says Im a fair weather fan now. I disagree. I "wanted" a winner for a long time. I mean at least Al Davis is trying to build a team. He just sucks at it. We fire our OC and starting LT before week 1 and promote AVP (Quality Control?) to OC? Nice work Buffalo. Lease is up next season....you're welcome Toronto.

    Bernard Berrian

I have Bernard Berrian on my roster and havent played him since week 1. He has not clicked with Favre at all and has been limited in his progress due to missing time this preseason. It seems like Harvin has passed him up as the "go to" guy in Minnesota. However, I see that he is highly ranked here and on a few other sights this week goining into MNF against Green Bay. I have always played fantasy football with the simple rule... Always play your primetime players in primetime games. I dont think that anyone would dispute that Favre will probably have his best game of the season this week because it wouldnt take much. But I dont see Berrian doing that much against the Pack. I would love to be talked into starting him and at least confirm my drafting of Berrian with one good game. Does anyone see this guy going off like alot of the "experts" do? My free league Im starting Favre over Rodgers this week. I know its risky as Im sitting my stud but just think about every single Monday or Sunday night game you have ever seen Favre play in and tell me Im crazy.

    Flex Help

I have Pierre Garcon, Lee Evans, Bernard Berrian, Antonio Gates at WR. I need to start 2 of them this week. Im leaning toward Garcon and Gates. Its basically a TD league with a few points for yardage.

Chris Brown fumbles at the 1

I hope the coaching staff reconsiders putting Brown in on GL carries. Slaton had a pretty good day with over 100 total yards.

    Gore on the sideline....ankle injury

God I hope not. I saw this coming with Gores history and picked up Coffee lastnight. Id love to get that start next week!

    Lynch

Im from the Buffalo area and I watch all the games. Fred is a huge fan favorite here and rightly so. But Marshawn, like it or not, is a better back. He will get the majority of touches when he returns for that reason and not the money. I would expect Lynch to be very impressive upon return with someone like Freddy pushing him. He knows he has to perform now more than ever. Lynch may even be a better receiver than Jackson so with Evans and Owens stretching DBs look for Lynch to become just as big a part of the passing game as Jackson has been in the first few weeks.
