  1. American Nightmare is really good. Only 3 shows I think 40 min each. True story. I knew NONE of the back story. NONE. ZERO. (Apparently the rest of the planet did.) As Aaron was being interrogated...and given answers and being told by the detective that he was lying .... I thought to myself "no way is he lying/making up". Same thing with Denise. Now, my answer is not a spoiler. I didn't say whether I was correct or fooled by Aaron (and Denise). If you like true, whacked stories with interrogations and cops and robbers, watch it.
  2. 1.) Throw an NFL football 150 yds 2.) Run a 41 second 400m 3.) Run a 3m 30 second 1-mile 4.) Throw a full beer keg 60 feet (lands 60 feet away from you- it doesn't roll) 5.) Juggle 5 shot puts as easily as a pro juggler could juggle 3 tissues 6.) Run the 100m in 11.5 seconds -- only hopping on one foot 7.) Crush a billiard ball in your hand by squeezing 8.) Be able to drink a gallon of milk out of a milk jug in 4.7 seconds 9.) Be able to eat 24 dogs and buns in 2 minutes. That's one every 5 seconds. You couldn't eat anymore than 24 though. So you had no chance at Hakimoto or Joey Chestnut's Nathan's records. 10.) Punt a football 200 yds.

    Sport Ranking by Physical Exertion

You missed the part about I ask kids that played both sports. We had one that dual-sported the entire year. Played basketball and wrestled. He laughed when asked which was harder and said it's not even close. I'm not saying based on my "view". I'm saying based on the comments from those that have done both. Can you name a better source? Oh, and basketball is for absolute pussies. I'm in the school system. I see the kids. I've tried recruiting a few basketball players to to wrestle.. Most are built like pussies, and most can't handle any kind of physical challenge/confrontation. Any kind of adversity they lay down. That's why the ones (other than 2) that have tried in the last 13 years have quit. That's why on a percentage basis, a higher number of wrestlers start on the FB team. That's why Forbes had an article...something like "When choosing between candidates, choose the wrestler"

    Sport Ranking by Physical Exertion

One thing is....you can't get in a shape for one sport, by doing another. You could take a marathon runner and have them go to a wrestling practice, and they'll be dead ass tired. And vice versa. Now that comment is not intended on being indication on which sport is harder. Like, cross country has more of a seamless transition to basketball than cross cross country does to wrestling. Both cross country and basketball are running, but basketball incorporates more sprinting, stop, sprint, stop sprint etc. In wrestling, we do other forms of cardio to break up the monotony and to reduce injury risk. But the only way the kids get in wrestling shape is to wrestle. We just did a swimming workout for cardio the other night. Kids were dead ass tired. Which leads me to this.... What about Water Polo? That seems like that would be ranked very high also in "how hard is it".

    Sport Ranking by Physical Exertion

More kids quit wrestling because its too hard. Wrestling starts right after Cross Country. Over the last 3 years....we've had 7 cross country runners join wrestling. All have quit. 100% of them. One is a family friend. He told me "he didn't like it". His parents told me that he admitted to them it's too hard. After we have a few kids quit every season, I say to the room "Little Johnny is done. Wrestling is hard" I then ask them how many of you are in tennis? Raise your hand. Football, raise your hand. Track? Tennis? Hockey? etc. Etc. I then say "Is any sports practice as hard as wrestling?" Kids come in immediately after cross country season...and are puking during wrestling practice. In 14 years of coaching, I've NEVER had a kid say any high school sport was as hard as wrestling. If you haven't wrestled, you don't get a vote. How could you think you get a vote standing on the outside? The only votes that truly count are the ones for folks that have wrestled and done other sports. They can make a comparison because they've felt/experienced both. I'd say boxing and MMA are at the top also. MMA has got to be #1. 15-25 minutes wrestling/boxing combination. Boxing is 45-60 minutes...but....its not 100% use of your body 100% of the time. Coasting happens. Coasting doesn't happen in wrestling at the higher levels.

Have we talked about American Nightmare on Netflix?

Yep. Uhh...others? Of course Making of a Murderer was excellent. The one about the Kathleen Peterson that fell down the stairs was good. I've seen the one on Netflix. Apparently there was one on HBO Max about the same thing. I haven't seen that one. The Kathleen Peterson on, I actually first heard about on Forensic Files. The episode was called "A Novel Idea". This was out way before any of the big series. Check it out if you haven't yet. The one about Laci Peterson/Scott Peterson. That was excellent also. Its on hulu and here: https://play.aetv.com/shows/the-murder-of-laci-peterson/season-1/episode-6 Any other ones that any of you have seen that are worth watching?

    Amazon service continuing to decline.

Around here, a HUUUUGE issue is the somalian amazon drivers getting stuck in the winter. They have zero clue how to drive in snow, where to turn around, where not to drive in snow etc.

You mean like THIS: https://i.ibb.co/YLq9TMR/lost.png Problem is 2 fold. 1.) I ordered other items that arrived in Brooklyn Park, MN on the same day these 2 most recent items did, and the other items moved right along and got delivered. 2.) There was NO severe weather between Brooklyn Park MN and Fargo ND between or on the date I ordered and now. It's been like spring the past week. Highs in 40s. No snow. No rain. No nothing. You mean like THIS: (also the 26th, also in Minneapolis). https://i.ibb.co/ZYm20wt/Screenshot-2024-01-30-at-07-34-59-Track-Package.png

Big year for QBs in the draft

Dak has Jerry by the ball sack. : He'll be the highest paid player in NFL history soon. Dak is the opposite of Eli Manning. Eli = average reg season. Clutch in playoffs.

    NFL games fixed?

Remember, if a player fumbles, drops a ball, throws a bad INT, misses a block or misses a sack, or if a ref misses calling a penalty, the game is scripted. Humans are infallible, so if there are mistakes, It's all part of the script that they rehearse during the week. They don't practice the game of football. They just practice the script. And their opponent practices the same script. And then when they play, since they practiced the script so hard, it just all comes together. Figure a movie with a handful of characters takes a year to make start to finish. But an NFL game, with 22 players on the field at once, they can get that script completed 3 days. Very few people are willing to face reality. If things don't go their way, well..."scripted". It can't be that the other team was better. No way no how. I did some math. Every NFL team would be undefeated if not screwed over by the refs or if the game wasn't scripted. Crazy. 32 teams all 17-0!

    Bigger choke job

Campbell has done what he's done all year...and it's got them where they are. Dance with who brung ya. Zay Flowers....was trying to make a play when he fumbled. That's what most athletes do- is try to make plays. Was it a "mistake" ? Well duh. Hindsight is 20/20. Things happen. I'd say neither of those things I just mentioned was a choke. Now...the taunting. That sh!t chaps my hide more than anything. The penalties that are decisions. PI, Holding, 12 men on field, false start....aren't conscious decisions. The folks that can't control their emotions and make a conscious decision to ##### their team.... That's the stuff I'd lose my sh1t over. Risk vs Reward for taunting: Risk - your team loses game. Reward - none. Seems like an easy decision. So the answer..... is Zay Flowers fvcked his team.
  15. How are the libs planning on fighting back? Pink dildos and butt plugs?

    What is your net worth?

Is the laugh emoji calling BS? Like seriously just curious. I mean, not everyone is broke or has scraps in their savings. Is that a hard concept to grasp? And the funny...the really funny thing is, this can be proved true or false. So, take for example the fella that calls bs, I'd be willing to exchange info, and go through a process to prove it, BUT....there is going to be money on the line. So, if you are calling BS, step to the plate, and make the bet. We'll exchange info. Problem is, the person calling BS, doesn't have money to bet with. How funny is that . The broke guy, could stand to make over 100k, but they don't have the money, nor the balls to step to the plate. Typical lib hiding in the bushes with a stick

Anyone getting Peacock for the Chiefs game?

Sorry. Don't like pedos. One around here, knows I don't like them. They asked for a sheriff escort when they had to be in the same place I was. I'm a known pedo hater. I don't like folks that defend pedos. They are likely pedos. Edit...sorry....went a tad overboard with response. Uncalled for.
  18. Simple question. No arguing, Most of us are against it. Most liberals are even against it. But some aren't. If I had to guess, I'd say 10% of liberals are okay with it and 0% of conservatives are okay with it. Many liberals have a normal on thought process on select subjects and are able to function normally and contribute to many every day conversations. Definition of man: Person born with a peeenis/testicles, XY chromosome pair. Is there anyone on this board that is okay with men competing in women's sports? Just give a "Yes" and then ONE SENTENCE why. IF no one is, then this question is dead in the water and will go no further past this sentence.

Latest right wing conspiracy theory: Taylor Swift is a government asset

Any real conservative doesn't give one fock about Swift. She's useless. Libs however look for every chance they can to worship celebrities. Taylor Swift an asset
  20. Why is it, that liberals are more likely to speak in slang/ teach their kids that slang is okay?

Anyone getting Peacock for the Chiefs game?

The thought process was....(I heard guy on news say this) is that Taylor Swift fans will pay money for a subscription just it be able to get a glimpse of her. Now, back to a question no one ever answers.... Why do liberals worship celebrities?
  22. Certain folks need to be told things, and will believe everything their told. We have a name for those folks. And they KEEP right on believing what they are told. "Well, I was giving these instructions from a higher up, so they must be good instructions"
