Anything I have read says Micah is a great dude. You dont think JJ offered him close to what he got in GB? He said himself he offered a ton. If their opinion was they werent going to pay Micah what he would ask for, then why would they not rrade him when his return would have been more? Again JJ had a very flimsy plan at best. JJ offered him a bunch. If Micah signed you would have said cool/awesome. Lets pretend that JJ didnt want to give him a large extention. So to sum it up, he got rid of perhaps their best player at age 26. And held onto him long enough to get the least in return. As a Packers fan I love Kenny. But hes diminishing. About to be 30. PFF is not everything at all. But he hasnt had better than a 62 run D grade in last 4 seasons. Packers were going to cut him next offseason. Packers paid much of his salary this year in rosters bonus. His salary next 2 years is not guaranteed but goes up significantly. If they cant agree to a restructure, I could see them cutting him. From everyone from execs to football heads....Dallas got a poor return. But thats what happens when you trade a guy like this 1 week before the start of the lague year. Jamal Adams, a safety...got a bigger haul.

This is a delusional post lol. Every guy that has held out this year has had "some injury". His back tightness had nothing to do with fing up negotiations. JJ told him to play on the 5th year option. Jerry wanted to talk contract and not let his agent in on it. Just google the situation and read up. JJ f'd up negotiations. Every exec or people in the know have said this. Meanwhile the Packers, a team that is not notorious for splash signings or tossing money around....were able to get a deal done in 12 seconds.

Execs in the league are trashing Jerrah. If they do a trade in March, they get more. Trading your best player...a 26 year old elite edge rusher....a week before the season.....is not how to get full value. In the end Jerrah wanted to play hardball on his terms. Not a surprise. I feel people still get shocked at money. If you are a decent QB in the league and your contract is up, you get paid. Just the way it is. A middling team with cap space would do it. What did an older Rodgers with a big contract go for?

I dont. But not sure if Jerrah does. If they really want to do a rebuild thrn they should trade him next offseason. If you trade Parsons and accumulate picks, it would usually be to get your QB. Do they keep Dak and try to just accumulate more talent and hope its good enough? Jerrah is old. Rebuilding doesnt seem like what he wants to do.

Right as is several other non QBs that teams sign or resign. If your argument is they paid him a lot of money then well not sure what there is to debate. Yeah they did. Top players get big money these days if you didnt notice. Of all the teams in the league, the Packers are thrifty and always manage the cap well. Its a known fact. Im sure they checked and rechecked the numbers. They dont trade for or pay players just because. They have endless examples of letting a good players walk, only to be absolutely right in their timing. They just got rid of Jaire who was highly paid. Hes hardly been healthy for the Ravens thus far. They sent Kenny Clark, who I love but has diminished and they were going to release him after the season anyway. He made over 20 per year.

As a Packers fan I dont want to gloat. Trading for and paying top players is always risky in the physical game that is football. Knock on wood. Jamal Adams a saftey went for more when he was traded. So it does not seem like the Cowboys got as much as people expected they might. I value picks as much as anyone. But GB for years now has been the youngest team in the league. Their last 2 1st round picks were Lukas Van Ness who was raw but has done little in 2 seasons. Then Jordan Morgan, a tackle that they tried at guard. And wasnt even a preferred starter last year. And has a chance to start the season as the 6th OL this year if he didnt steal the LT job in the midnight hour with his good preseason.

The issue is Jones whether your believe him or not has been saying all in last 2 years. Dak got a contract, Lamb did, traded for Pickens and he will be up on a contract.
