well in that case my friend you are not a true fan...

Fantasy Football is fantasy football....I dont draft players that i like but players that will give me the best overall team.... Packers come 1st over fantasy football..... if your favorite team is 2nd to your fantasy team then thats stupid...

Draft hands down.... Although a good football team looking to get over the hump and win a SB....will find that FAs is a good way of doing that...

He talks as if he's one of the best....which he's not.....with the lack of speed he could never get to that elite status... but i like the way he plays football.

Being a packer fan I know we are in a somewhat of a rebuilding year, even more so if Favre retires. we have about the best cap situation in the NFL....if favre retires we will be pushing the league minimun cap!!! What do all you packer fans think about Ted Thompson? I think with the decent FA year this year, he just isnt showing enough urgency too sign players, in a year that we actually are in great cap shape. I think we should start making moves on bigger named FAs....when was the last time we signed a Top Teir FA? Joe Johnson? and he was on the downside of his career....and played how many games for us all together? I just dont like the direction Ted Thompson is taking us with his conservative approach!

What is going on here??? Rod Gardner getting some emotion out of people As a packer fan im in favor of any signing because we need players that have some physical skill.....but I dont think we should be liking the fact that he might start... ....I think he could pan out with the tools he has...but as history shows and the kind of player he is i dont believe he will be anything too special... I think Gardner is another filler player the packers keep signing outside of Pickett.....Big slow WRs are out now a days...he maybe used in the redzone or just our 3rd WR at best, I would just like to see more of this depth in every position seeing that a whole team can basically get hurt in a year (packers of last year)

My personal opinion (maybe just a gut feeling) but being a packer fan....i understand the pick with the value at where we got him....but I just dont like the feeling im getting from this kid....It might be from all the QBs comming out of that system Akli Smith for example....but i dont know....something tells me this kid is going to dissapoint....maybe its just the fact that favre has done what he's done for so long and we havnt had to grad a 1st round QB....i guess being a packer fan and learning how to deal with a young QB dont mix well at this point in time...what are all of your guys opinions about Rogers future??

Seems like this team has always lacked D.....so i would trade down maybe with Oakland if they want ML and take huff or Hawk....either one isnt worth a top 5 pick because of position but they are the 2nd and 3rd best D players in the draft...so i would move down get an extra pick or 2 and get an impact D player to go along with their already good D-line.... Maybe getting Brees they set themselves up with getting a bodyguard by the name of Mr. Brick.....seeing he would go number 1 in many other years....

ABout everyone saying the Saints will now draft Mario at 2......Why? They have Will smith and Charles Grant....both young and very talented... seems like they are in the boat of the packers with an overload in DEs but theirs is multiplied in that Their 2 ends are better and they dont just have a KGB with only one dimention... I dont see the saints drafting Mario....either drafting BRick at 2 or moving down to get Hawk or Huff...maybe Im wrong but it seems logical

with the Phins getting Culpepper and the Saints getting Brees what effect will this have on the top ten of the NFL draft? As a packers fan I am worried about who they will have to pick..... I see it 1.- Houtan- they take Bush 2.- Saints- D. Ferguson, I dont see Mario here seeing their D Line is the least of their worries, get that franchise LT to go along with Brees ( a trade down to get Hawk is possible which I am afraid of) 3.- Titans- Lienart, him and Chow will have some good years to come. 4.- Jets- Cutler, Use Youngs wonderlic as an excuse to fans and end up with the guy they wanted all along. 5.- Packers- AJ Hawk, now that we have Kampman resigned we look to Hawk and not Mario, Im afraid the Saints will drop back to 4 and take him but we'll see. 6.- 49ers- M. Huff, need help everywhere but secondary might be the biggest need. 7.- Raiders- V Young- AL Davis is still the owner......he sees talent he bites... 8.- Bills- H Nghata - loosing Sam Adams leaves much room for this pick. 9.- Lions - Jimmy Williams, they should trade down to get him but they need someone deep besides Bly 10.- Cards- V Davis, they signed James....still need D, but Denny Green loves his O makes for some scary targets to pass too...

so scooter man.....do you care to say stick up for your comments and say that I am the one who makes posts without being informed?.....and keep acting like the guys on message boards that trys to shoot down others while acting like he has supreme football knowlage....(in most cases ends up being the one with the least).... did this man outta the words of this post not come off as saying Brickshaw would the pick (but we all know he wont be there) but after BRick TE would be a huge NEED position and Huff isnt really the choice? we all know Brick is gone by then ...the kid is the biggest lock in the draft....and in most years would go number 1 overall.....so his pick was basically V Davis with saying how much a TE is needed and that Hawk would most likley be gone...

Ok.....? so your telling me the good pick for a rebuilding team that has many holes and a high draft choice would be a TE?... You my friend are really sounding like someone who doesnt have much football logic or sense.... by the way they have just lost Plummer and Carter.....so I would say D is a big need for them over a freak of a TE from Maryland.... SF's D Stats basically last in points given up a game 26.8 to last place 26.9 114.5 rush yards given up a game... middle of the pack there 276.7 pass yds given up a game DEAD LAST by 45 yds...!!!!!! and Dead last in total yds give up a game by a wide margin!!!! and less then average in sacks and turnovers forced... so you my friend look totally silly by saying they had a decent Defensive unit last year!!! and with those stats your previous post looks very un-informed

the 49ers although with many needs TE isnt really one of them.....Eric Johnson was an improving young TE who was already better then half in the NFL he caught balls like crazy....D is the 49ers only pick with the lack of great WRs in the draft

ooops my bad.....with him falling after the packers I kind of just forgot about him....he woul dgo to the Lions instead of Jimmy WIlliams... what I was trying to get at was what do you think the packers will do now at 5 with resigning kampman....also if Hawk go to the Saints somewhere before the packs pick who do we draft?

Im just saying it isnt very appealing for FAs to come here....before Favre there was no intrest....to get guys that we want we need to make better offers then other teams..... Im sorry I have no source but heard on another board who had a source that the packers have actually had 12 or 14 guys come in for interviews and something like 10 of them just said no thank you...

I agree with not throwing money all over and sign the biggest FAs.....but even the Pats went out and signed Harrison Washington and colvin(although he got hurt)....we cannot leave 25 mil left in our pocket...without Favre and how isolated Green Bay is the only way to get some impact players is to burn a little money and get them in with the doe.....and we have it....this doesnt mean go out and give record deals...but if guys like pickett dont even want to come here who hasnt signed yet....we just arnt offering enough....being conservative lkke the carnals were for so long isnt the way to go either ....Id like to see a happy medium not the Vikes or the Skins but teams that spend a little to get some players not teh CArds....a team that finally ralized this year...

Im fed up this is stupid....we obviously dont want the face our orginization and the player who got our team out of a couple decades of hell in Favre....thats obvious.... Guys are getting signed left and right.....Robocop and whoever else sticks up for this approuch is crazy....no fan of the team with teh best cap situation would like to see by july 20 million left on their pockets....that just is like packing it in and waiting for next year!!!
