One of the local TV stations in Jackson did a story on Hass (which I loved since i'm an OSU fan) and they were talking him up like he was the next big thing. Brees, Horn, everyone was talking about how great of a camp he was having, blah blah.... about 2 weeks later the cut him. lol figures, I finally have a reason to care about the saints and they cut him. oh well.

the strade should be over and done with as soon as the second owner said "ya, i'll take that trade". as much as i hate it, i traded for portis last wednesday. it kills my season pretty much, but that's how it is.

My favorite stat from our league is that no team has EVER won the championship with Peyton Manning on their team. Nor have they even made it to the championship. Bears D is 23rd overall in scoring Gould is 42nd overall in scoring Out of the top ten scoring players only 2 are rb's. The rest are qb's.

I have Bulger too, but i'm not about to start A. Smith over him. lol I do have Branch though. I'm debating to play Gabriel or M. Jones instead. Ugh.

NASCAR is supposed to be in all caps. It's an acronym, (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) hence all caps. Not that this has anything to do with Chad Johnson. lol

I'm starting LJ Smith in flex instead of Foster. I thought about playing Foster but I just have a feeling Smith should do much better against NO. I just don't see Foster doing a whole lot against Balt. I could be wrong tho. I'll be pissed if he ends up getting 100+ and a TD. lol Knowing my luck he will if I bench him.

Ya, I don't see him doing much this week against Chicago. He might, but I really doubt it. But if Fitz stays out for long, I think Johnson could be decent if you need help at WR. Just look at his next two games after this week. Oak and GB? I imagine he could be pretty good those games. After those and their bye week though, Fitz might be coming back, so whatever value Johnson has at that point could go right back to where it was before. Minimal.

I have a chance to get him relatively cheap. Any thought on him guys? I know he's not some stud or anything, but he'd make a good 3rd RB if he can get any consistancy. I haven't watched him so I have no idea how he actually looks. Is Williams going to keep taking away more touches or is this what we should see from them? Thoughts?

Why do I keep hearing about him being triple teamed? Is he really? I believe him being double teamed, but c'mon, 3 guys devoted to cover only CJ with all those other weapons out there? I haven't watched any Cincy games this year so I don't know if he is or isn't. But he's not the second coming of Christ here people. Is he?

lol I never said it was an even deal. The guy is 1-3 and has good RB depth but no WR's (he has S. Smith but after that DD is way better than anyone else he has). And I really don't think Gore is gonna end up so terrible like all the doomsdayers around here do. Either way, I caught him at the right time when he was frustrated and half azz made the offer. He took it and I'm happy. But, you're right, if we were all NFL coaches like your league, he never would have made it.

I was able to trade Gore and D. Driver for S. Jackson today.

I think that's a pretty crappy thing #2 did. But #1 is at fault also for not canceling the trade after #2 mocked it. However, since it was pretty obviously a planned move (to me anyway) I would add in the points from the players #1 would have played had he had the chance. But I think the commish would have to decide with commen sense what players would've been used. I would think it would be pretty easy to figure out who it would've been. Or, just void the trade and rescore the game like norseman said. Either way, pretty low thing for #2 to do.

If he plays he'll light up the Titans. I have till up to 5 mins before game time so I'll just check Sunday morning to decide. I hope he does, I need all the help I can get right now. But if means risking him for even more weeks, I don't mind him sitting this week.

lol wasn't meant to try to "entice" anyone. it's just a way to get him off my roster. hell, you never know tho. someone might think he could pan out sometime this year. I don't.

He's still on my roster technically, but I'm just gonna drop him once I decide on someone from the WW. Maybe I'll throw him in with a trade just to get rid of him. lol

I'm actually thinking about starting Frye over Bulger. I know Bulger has a good match up too with Detroit. But christ! It's Oakland we're talking about. lol I'll probably stick with Bulger. Hell I don't know.
