I think you're fine where you're at. Barber and Gore are great starters and the other guys you play the match up.

lol that is kinda funny. in a stupid little way.

I can't decide on my flex this week. M. Bell, Mush, or even possibly LJ Smith (usually does fairly well against the Giants). Right now I'm leaning towards Mush since he has a nice matchup and seems like he might do well this year. Hopefully anyway. And how much will Bells finger affect him? Any thoughts guys?
we get 1 pt per 10 yds and extra points for distance td's.
1-9 yds = 6pts
10-39 yds = 9 pts
40+ yds = 12 pts.
Am I just thinking too much here?

You have to love owning this guy. He has 130+ total yards and panic sets in. What a stud. That's what I thought too. At first I thought "crap, no touchdown?!?!" then I realized he got me 14 points. lol If I get about that every week, I'm happy. I do wonder how Greens injury will affect him. But if he get the amount of carries and throws that he should, I imagine he'll fine.

Our league pretty much goes by vote also. We never actually vote, but if a trade looks fishy, everyone is already talking about it. So everyone kinda goes by what the league overall feels. Luckily we don't have much of a problem anymore since we booted the owners that normally pulled crap like that. If you have good and honest people in the league, you shouldn't have a problem anyway. But that's just my opinion. lol

I have M.Bell starting this week, but that's because my other option is Lundy. I certainly wouldn't be starting him over Caddy though. Caddy isn't going to be splitting carries with anyone. I'm sure he'll be spelled a bit here and there. But not like M.Bell splitting with T.Bell. I'd go with Williams. But that's just me.

I have actually been thinking about this too. I have LJ but vertually(sp?) no real depth after him. Gore, M. Bell, Lundy. Nothing that really stands out. So I've been wondering if I should try (like mtnman said) a 2nd tier #1 and a decent #2 if possible. Some people are willing to give too much for a guy like LJ. But in my case, Gore might make a decent #2. So I'll probably just hold on to LJ. But if you need help at WR also, you could get a decent RB and a top WR for him I would imagine.

I'd change the rule AFTER the season when all owners can vote on it (officially). Don't change after you've drafted. Tell him to deal with it this year and bring it up next year at the owners meeting.

I would think that any player taken in the first 2-3(possibly 4th) rounds would never get benched unless they're injured or something. That being said, I'd never bench:
L. Johnson
C. Johnson
TO
Driver(unless someone else is just going crazy)

Thanks guys

Thanks for the reply. Thats about what I was thinking also. I guess we'll just have to wait and find out how both work out. lol
BTW, just realized this was the wrong board for this. Sorry bout that. If someone knows how to move it to the correct board, please do. Thanks

Hey guys, this is my first post so bare with me.
I'm kinda torn between starting Lundy or M. Bell as my 3rd back.
I know both are going to be sharing carries, and it seems like both are going to be starting (which doesn't mean a whole lot considering their situations). And now Dayne is gone from Denver so there appears to be noone taking goal line carries away from Bell since I don't see Tatem doing it. Any thoughts?
Oh ya, if it helps, our scoring is 1pt per 10 yds and tds are 1-9 yds = 6pts 10-39 yds = 9pts and 40+ yds = 12 pts. rec. td's for RB's are doubled pts. (yes we can put some points up lol)
I could also play Mush instead of either but I think it's always best to go with a RB.

The guy gets 148 yds in week 1, and 167 yds in week 2, but because he doesn't have any td's yet everyone wants to dump him.
