a suspended player is the equivalent of an injured player who has not been placed on IR. so Max was correct. because they are not actually injured it does not count as IR

for sure. even if you think CMC doesnt play a down. you dont pay substantially more than the market on a guy like Guerrendo. my philosophy: dont pay the price of a cadillac for the Honda Civic you are buying. Honda Civic is a good reliable car, but it aint no Cadillac.

all good points. my main one is that his coach has historically not gotten top production out of the TE position. so drafting him as the first TE off the board might not be as wise as you think. he will still be good. dont get me wrong. but a repeat of last years numbers would be expecting a lot given the situation.

100%. in a league like this, there is usually no problem trading a QB unless they are a scrub. and if your keepable talent is poor, might as well fill out a position of need. in a 1 QB league you would never consider this move, but in a 2 QB or Superflex format it is a legitmate strategy.

yeah. predicting whats on the board 12 picks into the future is a lot easier than predicting what will be on the board 20 picks into the future

Carroll likes to run the ball and throw to the WR. due to the lack of talent at WR I'm predicting a robust ground game. he will still get significant action for the reason you have alluded to I'm just saying not to expect him to be the TE1 this year.

my point exactly. Henry isnt here to rack up stats. hes already got that. what he doesnt have is a superbowl ring. Thats why hes in Baltimore. if preserving himself a bit to be fresh for a tough playoff is what it takes, thats what Henry will do.

I think it also depends how bad it is and how much of the evidence is expected to be public facing. because of the nature of it, I could see the suspension being pretty quick regardless as lives were endangered. but with the NFL sometimes these things are hard to predict

Shanny doesnt care. have you seen their injury report since Shanny was hired. lots of years they are up in the top of the league for missed games. not a guarantee its shanny. it could be something in the training regiment or something or crappy field. but they tend to have a lot of players on IR. bottom line, if you are in the lineup you are working. I doubt they do a pitch count thing. I could be wrong on this but to my knowledge this isnt something Shanny typically considers

sadly the coach doesnt care. he wants Henry fresh for the Playoffs. as long as the team is comfortably in a playoff spot those last few games of the year will be a lighter workload. they want to win a superbowl. they dont care about stats for the year.

most leagues still give the player any TD they happen to score regardless of what role they are playing. so CB's who get pick 6's tend to be nice draftable players. in this case even if hes mediocre on offense but gets 6 TD on the year. if starting him as a defender, all those plus any pick 6/fumble recoverys make him pretty valueable as a defender for fantasy. I could see some fantasy leagues rewrite the scoring on defense because of this guy. but we shall see. he hasnt played a down of pro football yet. so at this point it is still all speculation

no but if you can start him at CB and still get his offensive numbers, thats huge. though it may be a case where the only offensive numbers he gets are the TD but thats still large enough. I suppose it depends on the rules of your league too.

in IDP he could potentially be a goldmine. Especially if he plays both positions
