    Nabers owners in dynasty

Flacco can throw the deep ball, so I think Nabers could perform with him at QB. Rodgers too. Rodgers throws too many INT but that doesnt affect the WR numbers. Though I think Flacco is better in the dressing room than Rodgers would be. but both are adequate fillers while developing a young QB. (assuming they draft one)
  2. yeah they need to get WR for this young QB. Though I wouldnt mind seeing a good plug and play O lineman either. if they sign the WR then they could focus on the lineman in one of the first 2 rounds of the draft.

    Daniel Jones to Indy

they could have kept Flacco. hes cheaper. possibly better. but that's not the sexy play.

    Bold Moves in 2025 Draft

well, there is no doubt they need a QB. but it is also possible that they stand pat. especially if they dont covet the concensus #1 QB on the board. I do suppose it depends on what the price is to move up. if they want the concensus #1 pick at QB they should try to get ahead of cleveland (who also needs a QB) Tennessee needs a QB but I get the distinct feeling they wont take one this year. and they do have enough holes in the lineup where trading back to get extra picks might be the right play for them.

    Saquon Barkley

agreed. like I said. any backup in Philly is likely to put up numbers if Barkley gets hurt. I say this because the Philly O line IS that good. As such, the only fantasy value there is as a handcuff to Barkley. so he has value to the Barkley owner. He has no value to anyone else (unless barkley is already injured) but for a barkley owner, hes a must have RB4 handcuff who becomes a RB2 if Barkley is not playing. Nothing more, nothing less.

    Daniel Jones to Indy

I actually like the WR there. The offense will actually be balanced with multiple good pass catchers. This actually plays to Jones skillset more as teams cant just double cover his #1 WR. so if he properly goes through his progressions he should put up better numbers. It is not a given that he beats out Richardson. but if it happens, he might be a nice late pick in a superflex format. if your league only starts one QB he will continue to be irrelevant other than maybe a matchup play to cover a bye week or injury.

Chargers made a very good investment

well, I think the Chargers o line is better than what they have in pittsburgh and the pass game is more dangerous and as a whole the offense less predictable Than in Pittsburgh so you wont have teams stacking the box like they did against Pittsburgh. I predict better YPC with the Chargers than what he provided in Pittsburgh. what I dont know is if he gets less touches or more. My feeling is that there will be another back sharing carries with him and I have no idea what the split is likely to be. so it is too early to project numbers. but I'll commit to the better YPC. I think that is a reality in LA.

    Daniel Jones to Indy

That whole offense has been badly mismanaged in New york since they Drafted him and honestly they drafted/signed well regarded O line guys gut they never panned out. I dont think that was a drafting issue, I suspect it was more of a player development issue and possibly a coaching issue. dont get me wrong I still think there are things that he could have done better, but I also think the team didnt give him a reasonable chance to be the best version of himself either. It is now to a point where they may have ruined him as a player but hes still shown flashes from time to time, so I think its a good gamble. if he doesnt win the starting job, he will just be a high priced backup. Realistically I think he throws a more accurate ball than Richardson does but hes not quite as good at running with the ball. That said, the O line there is miles ahead of where the O line was in New York so I suspect hes gonna look better there if he wins the starting job. if he does win the starting Job I'd consider picking him up in my superflex league. I'd probably be able to get him as my QB3. I think he does have the upside where that is potentially a bargain. I fully agree hes boom or bust, but as a QB3 you likely cannot find better upside than what he provides.

    Daniel Jones to Indy

part of Danny dimes problem was a bad o line in New York. It wouldnt surprise me to find out he can actually perform better in this offense. The only question is, is that good enough? That still remains to be seen.

Chargers made a very good investment

well, he has a skillset that Naj does not. hed be a nice compliment (if healthy) but whether they re sign would largely depend on where Vidal is in his development. if management feels he is ready to play more, maybe they bypass Dobbins. they could also draft someone. its supposed to be a deep draft at RB. they wouldnt even need to use a first rounder. though I think another WR wouldnt be a bad call. or a playmaker on D

Update: DK Metcalf traded to Pittsburgh

no but Wilson is smart enough to know where his bread is buttered. He still throws a pretty good deep ball from what I understand so DK would do ok there if Wilson were the QB. but Rodgers is the same. he also throws a pretty good deep ball. the ability to stretch the field with the two wideouts will also open up the run game. and any attempt to double cover one of the wideouts leaves the other one with single coverage. this could be a real nice offense if everyone can actually get along.

Chargers made a very good investment

That is the million dollar question. I suspect this becomes more of a committee. for sure all carries that belonged to gus are now Harris's. I also suspect they use dobbins a little less in the hope that he doesnt get hurt. keeping in mind Vidal likely gets a little more use as he develops as a player. once again this will be a tough one to predict.

Chargers made a very good investment

he is a good power runner. and behind a good line, I can see him doing well enough. might be bad news for Gus Edwards though.

Update: DK Metcalf traded to Pittsburgh

    maybe that's the play.

Update: DK Metcalf traded to Pittsburgh

hang on a minute. Russell Wilson was his QB for the best statistical year of his career. Maybe he thinks he will be fine there. this may mean that Wilson stays in Pittsburgh. I know I saw a report suggesting they are moving on but fields just signed elsewhere. what else are they likely to do? maybe its just speculation on my part or maybe DK is only there because they promised to pay him. not sure.

Update: DK Metcalf traded to Pittsburgh

well, I'd rather have DK than Pickens. maybe this means Pickens is on his way out.

maybe..... not sure. just glad its not my problem to solve.

Update: DK Metcalf traded to Pittsburgh

I'm sure he cares. I honestly think it may be a case where he wants to be the #1 dog in the room. and if Smith Njigba overtakes him it would be tough for his ego to take. my guess is he sees this coming in the next year or two (signs already there) and wants to leave early before that scenario plays out.

Update: DK Metcalf traded to Pittsburgh

well, I dont fault him for wanting the ball. most good players do want the ball in their hands. its the off field stuff that I dont like so much. for the most part he seems to be ok that way (or the seahawks have done a good job of hiding it)

    Hollywood Brown back to KC

obviously KC likes him. though 11 M seems to be the going rate now. top WR make in excess of 20 M now so I dont know how outrageous this is anymore. the salaries have moved so quickly that this may actually not be as bad as it seems.
  21. Smith had 3 good WR last year. DK, Locket and Smith-Njigba how many good WR do the raiders have? I predict a disaster.

    49ers Trade Deebo to Commanders

Deebo has been overrated for more than a couple of years. I had zero shares of him in any of my fantasy football teams the last 2 years. but he may actually be at a point where he could be undervalued now. I'm mostly pointing this out. I do not think Deebo was as good as his 1400 yard season suggested. but I also dont think hes as bad as what this last season has suggested. the reality is I think hes a WR2 for some team. Not an elite WR1. if I had to make a prediction in Washington I'd say 900-1000 yards receiving and about 100 yards rushing. which probably makes him a low end WR2 or high end WR3 depending on TD. if he slides into WR3 territory in any draft I'd consider buying. and from what I have seen, there is a chance that can happen.

Update: DK Metcalf traded to Pittsburgh

well, when it comes time to pay a player, you need to look in the mirror and ask yourself if that player will help you win a championship if he stays. I think this team is a good couple years away from being highly competitive again, so if they can unload him and obtain a good asset or two now is the time. whoever buys has him for 1 more year and they can worry about signing a big extension. I would hope it would be a football trade where they get players who address a need on the team rather than a draft pick deal. but that's not likely the way it will work

    49ers Trade Deebo to Commanders

let me ask you a question, do you think San Fran will be another 7 win team next year? or do you think this is a one off? I think San fran wins at least 10 next year and most of the players who saw a dip will see a statistical rebound of sorts. There were a lot of things not working in that offense. The O line was one of them. they were not as good in pass pro and the players who played wide (aiyuk and deebo) had the worst results. your slot receivers and TEs did ok. what does that tell you? it tells me the QB isnt having enough time to hit the deeper throws. I dont think this is a team that will let this situation persist into next season. So yeah I will throw out the stats. you can sell on all your 49er players if you want. personally I'm buying on Pearsall as I think hes ready to make a jump with Deebo gone. Whether he has a 1000 yard season remains to be seen but I'm guessing hes good for at least 750-800.

    49ers Trade Deebo to Commanders

Id honestly throw all of last years stats out the window. the whole team in San Fran performed poorly and they had a ton of injuries which likely contributed to this. but I guess you could look at this as another reason to reduce his usage in this manner, but the reality is.... its a different offense so the way a player gets used there would never be exactly the same as the way hes been used in another offense. This is why when a player switches teams the floor usually goes lower and the ceiling can sometimes be higher. as fantasy owners, you rarely know for sure where exactly the player will land within that range. but I do think given Deebos wishes that he expressed loudly when negotiating his last contract, he didnt want to be used running the ball as much. so I think there is a decent chance Washington will adhere to his wishes in that regard. while I wouldnt expect Washington to completely remove the WR runs from their playbook, I would expect them to be more selective about when they will pull a Deebo Run play out of their bag of tricks.
